I went there today get a color match for the double wear foundation. The woman that was helping me first told me that she would not recommend that foundation for me and tried the show me something else. I had to insist that I wanted that foundation before she color matched me. She didnt give me a mirror for me to see what The colors looked like before she wiped them off my face . She finally came up with a color that she thought matched, when I asked for a mirror there was a dark blotch of foundation on the center of my cheek which she insisted was my color . I told her I would come back later and left . The girls at the Clinique stand are normally so helpful and professional. I was absolutely disappointed at the service I received by this woman.

Visited a few weeks ago. Actually On Black Friday. The store was clearly not busy, anyway Bev, the lady that refused to help us cause she said she was too busy with a customer on the phone. Yet theyre waiting for you on the phone on the opposite side of the store. My mom is literally right in front of you saying maam, maam. Then Bev stands there and say Im too busy to help you right now. Since when dont employees assist their customers. We only had a question to ask Bev. Bev is that the real reason??? Id say there was another reason. But anyway Bev is a disgrace. Thank you Bev for ruining my experience at this particular Belk. Would rate 0 stars but thats not an option. Bev, youll never be the real MVP!

The store is very crowded and hard to shop in. There are racks and tables in the isles making it hard to even walk around. The employees that are there are helpful, but there is never enough help. The cosmetic counters are often out of supplies. It is apparently the stores policy to order cosmetics and have them sent to the customers instead of keeping a lot of inventory at the store. This is a real issue for me. I like my cosmetics when I go to the store. Also, it is too hot for most of the cosmetics to be sent in the mail.

Not really sure how to review a department store. They have the typical department store essentials, mens & womens clothes and shoes. Sometimes the makeup counter employees dont have it all together though.
