Meant to give no stars, wont let me delete them. Bought an Ace brand orange $55 supposed top of their line garden hose. After roughly 5-6 weeks I got tired of how over and over it would consistently kink and irritate the crap out of any one. Would have returned it sooner but life got in the way. Finally Sunday, on my only day off, I went to unscrew the coupler from my brass water faucet and apparently the cheap aluminum coupler on the hose (although looked beefy in the store) has corroded itself to my faucet. Short of breaking off the faucet from the wall (made of softer copper pipe) I head over to the store were purchased it with a picture of the issue and tried to explain to the manager the situation. His exact words were, its because there are two dissimilar metals mated together. Ok, and so whos fault is that, surely not mine. Thats Aces fault because as far as I know I have never ever seen an exterior hose faucet made out of anything other than brass! !! Next words out of his mouth were do you have your receipt. I said unfortunately no, but you can clearly see from the pic its your hose and in like new condition. The he told me , sorry I cant do anything. At that point I had had enough of this guys stupidity and said a few choice words on my way out of the store. This hose is crap, I bought a $40 100 foot gray hose from Home Depot back in 2002. It is still working just fine and does not kink like this hose from Ace. Yes, it has had two repairs, one my fault and on its own but still 100 times better than this $55 piece of junk. I was skeptical about purchasing it but the salesman kept repeating, Ace stands behind all their products, just bring it back if you have any issues at all. Ha, what a joke! Stay away from this hose and this Ace!

Im so happy to have a great hardware store so close to home. They carry just about everything Ive needed, from paint to hardware, and sprinklers, and bird feeders. The staff has always been extremely helpful and if you check their fliers, they often have some really great sales. I highly recommend this Ace Hardware store.

What store does not let their customer exchange an item with the receipt?! I was not even trying to return. Yes the item was open but I had the resistor and only wanted an EXCHANGE. Lowes its much cheaper everyone and they accept all returns.

You are always welcomed to the store and asked if you need help finding anything unlike Lowes or home depot where you cant find anyone to help you
