Great place to buy food and groceries, but the staff needs work. The manager didnt seem so bad, but some of the other employees really need to learn how to be more polite. Im not asking them to be my bestfriend, but being approachable and polite should be a bare minimum requirement. When an employee is a part of customer service (cashier, shelf stocker, etc.) I expect them to be kind and helpful. Unfortunately thats not the case at this Safeway. I am mainly talking about the old folks who work there.

Safeway is a great grocery store because they have high quality products with great prices. Their produce is typically very good + have a fresh bakery. I wish the seafood department was a bit better, but overall the store is great. This is the only grocery store that I use these days

Usually no issues at this store -love the artisan breads! This weekend I had company so I bought fruit for a fruit bowl. Blackberries had mold and the pineapple which looked good on the outside was brown all through the inside. Had to discard both. Very disappointing.

Went in at 5:45 am - doors were locked even tho their hours state they open at 5. When they finally opened at 6 no fresh bakery items (bagels/donuts) were ready, they were just starting to bake. Save some money and go to acme across the street.

I love this place. The manager, and the people that work there are so much better than shoprite. The customers are much nicer too. I would give a 5 if they had just a few more items that other stores have

Typical Safeway. Astronomical prices, out of too many items, and produce that looks as though it was kept in a childs backpack. Clean store and friendly staff, but not a great place to buy groceries.

This is not a terrible grocery store. It is clean and the staff are respectful. I do not know why they got rid of the self-checkout area. Sometimes there are not many counters open.

Nice location off Foulk and Naamans road near Northtowne Plaza and Route 202 . Across Naamans Road from the Safeway is an #Acme market where I can purchase my #DART bus pass. :-)

Well I like this store a lot I just wish they had kept self checkout Im disable it was easy to use and convenience but very helpful staff

My preferred supermarket. Has a much better meat and seafood selection over Food Lion, and is about on par with Acme.
