This place is absolutely disgusting. Went shopping at this Acme location for the last time recently. During the trip I was looking for sargento balanced breaks and couldnt find them. Having spent a few minutes trying to find what I was looking for, I happened to look closely at the bottom shelf of the refrigerated cheese section to see a used feminine hygiene product laying right on the bottom shelf in the middle of the kraft singles. After taking a photo so we can forward it to a corporate contact, my husband alerted the woman attending the customer service desk who didnt seem phased. Absolutely disgusting, dirty, overpriced, poor quality store. I will never return to this location and have considered boycotting the whole chain for the low quality and high prices. Its not uncommon for Acme produce and meat to turn before the expiration date in my experience.

Just recently they did away with the self checkout lines... Why they did that I have no idea but I go there because its really close to my house. Not anymore. They have like 25 checkout lanes and only 2-4 open at a time making lines long. They also have some nerve putting up new signs that say "new lower prices". I call bs. Anytime I go there I end up spending $60 on a few items, and they advertise meat buy one get one but raise the price so youre still paying for both items anyway. To me thats false advertising and I refuse to go there anymore.

I shop the Acme in University plaza, newark, De. The meat department is amazing, their bakery is not whst ot used to be. We tried so many time8s to get them to stock Pepsi Real sugar. Every time we go there they only have 1 or 2 12 paks. When we ask customer service they say Acme has no control over what kind of pepsi products the company does that. Wjy cant I order from them...nope

This store is by far the worst I have ever dealt with in customer service!! I called the store prior to going and when I get there the workers say the woman left early and she is the only one who can work the customer service area and maybe I should have come earlier. They let her leave early. I will take my business to Shoprite for now on. Acme will never get my business again!!!

Acme carries a wide selection of fruit and vegetables, as well as alternative foods such as vegan options. While they have a nice selection of Gluten-free foods, it is not as wide as some other groceries. As a person with diverse food allergies, I need to know where I can find foods I can eat. Additionally, the cost is less expensive here than some other groceries.

I work here and this store isnt the greatest. No help at all. Come night time Im the only person on the floor and they expect me to do it all. I dont get paid enough for the stuff they want/expect me to do. I stock shelves but they call me up front to cashier majority of the time because they dont know how to Schedule people. Ridiculous here.

On occasion there will be items, especially in the dairy and fruit sections that are empty for a while day, but otherwise everything Ive ever needed has been there. And while annoying at times, I do appreciate their care for keeping all fresh products

Higher prices than average in this area and the staff are extremely surly, incompetent, easily panicked, and lazy (many of them working the same part-time positions for over 20 years). Im taking my business to Shop Rite.

They are never stocked on the items that they have on sale!! Prices are ridiculous and they did away with self checkout because their employees never paid enough attention to people stealing from the store!!

Hate this store! Bananas are always rotten and they discontinue selling stuff you need all the time. They removed the self checkout lanes, so the lines are always long and slow. Avoid! Go to Shoprite.

My daughter was extremely disappointed that we went there for fried chicken at about 5:45pm and they were practically sold out and the few pieces left were dry and had been sittin g for quite awhile.
