Elevation Cycles is an exceptional business! Ive used this shop several times this past year. Theyve always gone above and beyond my expectations, helping me keep my bike commute-ready and in shape as I train for some longer rides. First, on a tune-up, they did a full assessment and identified a few more expensive repairs needed. They helped me decide on a good timeline for tackling everything and worked within my budget to help me get by until then. The guys who worked with me knew their stuff, and talked me through the details of the repairs, which I appreciated, and which gave me confidence in their assessments. Second, when I brought my bike back for the planned repairs about six months later, Jeff worked with me as a full partner to figure out a plan that respected my wallet and the long-term health of the bike. Finally, a couple weeks ago, they helped me prep for a trip where Id be flying with my bike. When I called asking for some supplies, they didnt have what I needed, but instead of ending the conversation there, Chris asked about my travel dates and figured something out so I got what I needed when I needed it. Each time, I felt the people I worked with were full partners helping me take care of my bike, find affordable solutions, and troubleshoot in general. I think this is only the 2nd review Ive ever written -- Elevation Cycles and the people who work there deserve to be recognized for their exceptional work. I have a ton of respect for this business.

These guys are phenomenal. Really enjoyed the personal service I received here as I purchased a new hybrid commuter/road bike. I visited a handful of shops before and after Elevation, and this was by far the best experience. I received a custom fit, including measurements, and was able to take as many test drives as I wanted. In the end, I felt like they were really working hard to make sure I had the best bike for my needs—and never felt like I was trying to be "upsold" on anything. They offered a 10% discount on any accessories purchased the day I bought my bike (which meant some nice fenders). I received a complimentary 30-day tune-up, as well, just to make sure everything was still riding the same after its break-in period. They also offer tune-ups for the next 5 years to keep the bike in great working condition. Overall, I really had a great experience with Elevation. I got a great fitting, and wonderfully riding bike...and it didnt bust the bank.

i dont know the whole story, but the sales manager i spoke with use to work at Salvagettis an amazing shop in Denver. i called to order a hard to get bike there was only one left in my size. i have been looking for some time calling every shop around getting the cold shoulder. no shop was willing to work a deal with pedals and help me out. i got great service from them, they are throwing pedals in with the purchase. this shop remembered me from working on 2 of my bikes at Salvagettis. while at Salvagettis they stayed late to work on my bike so i could head out the very next day. they remembered me and my friends crazy kokopelli trip from 5 years ago. its a great place and i am excited to add one more shop to the amazing lbs list. dont pass this shop up, my list of shops to deal with is now 3 this one made the list today Thanks for a great expierence Elevation

My bike has been cursed for a while and Ive been going through tubes like a madman. I got there as they were closing as I was on my way to a game and got yet another flat. After the first person to meet me at the door literally preformed an exorcism on the front wheel, the tech took a look and did a full inspection on the wheel. He saw a few suspect issues on the wheel but the puncture wasnt in a location that would indicate they were the primary issues. Either way, he quickly fixed the flat, offered a bunch of suggestions to get ahead of the problem and even offered up a beer while I waited. Disclaimer: the beer isnt an ongoing value add to the services, I dont believe. It was a Friday night, they were celebrating the end of a week and were gracious enough to include me in it with the beer-which was much appreciated!

I have been in there a couple times and was happy with their service ...until recently. I dropped $100+ on parts and came back a couple days because the bike was having issues. Bike tech told me there was nothing wrong. Ok, a couple days later after I was still having the same problem and brought it back slightly annoyed. The same bike tech basically told me I have a cheap Wal-Mart bike (very untrue) and he wasnt going to look at it or even fix it because I should just give up and throw it away. So feeling insulted I insisted he take a third look at it. Turns out it was a broken link on a new chain. So after installing the part incorrectly the prick then insulated and charged me to fix it again. So if you dont have a $5,000 bike the techs will insult you and refuse you service after they improperly install parts.

A cycling shop run by cyclists, not some corporation. Chris, the manager here is great. Not only do they give great service and have an awesome selection their prices are reasonable and they are great at telling you what new stuff is coming down the road that you really need to check out, even giving you some chances to try things. Just stopped there the other day and he told me I HAD TO try this new Skratch flavor and he grabbed my water bottle and filled it up for me. Sure enough, it was great. Also turned me onto the Stages power meter which was a really great option for someone on a budget who was wanting to get into training with power. TWO BIG THUMBS UP GUYS!!!!!

Nothing but good things to say about the crew down at Elevation Cycles near Union Station. They helped me with a few minor repairs (and didnt charge me even though they certainly could have) and have a very solid selection of bikes and components all price-matched to what youll find with most online retailers. A great shop in the heart of downtown Denver whether you need a quick repair or are dropping the bike off while youre at work (and in some instances even able to pick it up later that afternoon for a post-work shred). Thanks fellas!

I came in at open, only intending to get air in the tires of my 70s Bridgestone I use to commute to/from work (knowing I needed some serious brake maintenance). But needed to get on my way to work. Greg helped me out greatly! Offered to do a quick fix for my brakes right then and there. Had it all finished within 10-15 minutes. Cant express how nice that was and how great the bike now feels! Had it tuned up at Tourin a few months ago and it wasnt the best experience. This is definitely my bike shop of choice. Thanks, yall

I must say, this business does things right! I took my bike in this afternoon for some repair, and assumed they would gear me towards the $75 tune up. Instead, the mechanic who worked on my bike gave it a once over and told me I did not need to spend $75 for the repairs, and $45 worth of work would do the trick. I got a call literally 2 hours later from them telling me my bike was finished. Just rode it from the shop back to my office and everything that needed fixed is fixed. I will always take my bike here from now on!
