We were a bit skeptical to try this place due to older reviews. It seems that they may have cleaned up their act from a year or more ago. Dont let the line deter you, it moves quickly and miraculously, seating works out in this tiny place. You order before you sit and the woman at the register was friendly and informed us that it may take 20-25 minutes for our hot breakfast to arrive. We were ok with that as we munched on our delicous homemade donut and sausage roll while we waited. It turned out the wait was probably only 10 minutes and the food was delish. We had Huevos Rancheros and a couple of sides. The man who delivered our food was also friendly. All in all a wonderful exerience for this tourist couple. I am pretty sure we will be grabbing some donuts on our way out of town to enjoy on the car ride home.

I love Daylight donuts in Breckenridge and the customer service is great. My husband and I share breakfast here and it is delicious regardless of what we have. Every staff at any place can have a bad day or be short on help because someone calls in sick. If someone working at a restaurant is grumpy like others experienced it is wrong but they deal with a lot of customers who Ive seen get grumpy too. Id rather have healthy and grumpy wait staff than sick with a cold or flu wait staff. The only thing I would change at Daylight Donuts is coffee and coffee choices. Wish Daylight Donuts would come to MN. Not sure what to order here... Just ask the locals as they know what to order and some take their food skiing with them because its reasonably priced.

If your looking for a quick fix for an early morning sugar tooth and you want to play it safe with familiar classics this is your best bet for Breckenridge. If you did not know daylight donuts is a chain but you would not be able to tell if you happened to stumble upon this shop. It fits in well with the small ski village of Breckenridge. Their bear claws and cinnamon rolls are massive. I only ordered a dozen donuts however. They were not very warm so if you take them to go make sure to warm it up. I also recommend you get their cake donut instead of the yeast donut, they are much more moist and soft.

Stale donut alert! I absolutely love a good cup of coffee and a donut to start the morning. Ive been to this place twice, on two separate occasions, and ordered two different donuts each time. Both were incredible stale and tasted like they had been sitting out all night or something. Ive never sat down and eaten breakfast here because it is always so crowded, so I will point out that the one-star rating is for the donuts only. But, seriously-- I would imagine a place with Donuts in the name would serve decent donuts, no?

I was told the place was going to be great. The donuts fresh out of the over where great. I went there because their burritos were suppose to be great! I ordered on. It was great, it tasted a little weird but I kept eating. After 10 mins of eating it came back out. It looked uncooked and looked like they didnt try to make it. Definitely recommend the donuts not the burrito.

Friendly place where all the locals go. Everything my family had was very good (breakfast)! The service was also great! The fritters and bear claws were so good that it brought back childhood memories. If youre visiting Breckenridge, make sure to stop by this place at least once. Just make sure to get there early enough to get a donut or fritter - they go quickly!

Too stressful for a breakfast place. The classic case of a small awesome place that became too popular and lost the charm and the kindness towards the costomers. The food was resonble, not great. The coffee is the regular brown water. Donats are ok.. blast with sugar. Bottom line, in the current time, there are better places to eat your breakfast.

We stopped here before heading home. I wish I had stopped earlier in the week because Id be buying breakfast here the entire trip. Their giant cinnamon rolls are awesome. They are reasonably priced and put cinnabon to shame. The staff was friendly and fast. Bring cash as it is a cash only establishment!

Daylight has the BEST breakfast in Breckenridge! The people are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy! The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. The donuts are amazing, I grab a couple every time Im on my way through town. Definitely one of my favorite spots.

Good place for a simple breakfast at a reasonable price. Looks super local (especially inside) but part of a chain. The lines will get long during peak season and hours since the seating area is small. Go outside of them or I wouldnt think its worth the time.

This place is a must when in town! Growing up, I had access to a wonderful, small-town doughnut shop just like this one. It takes me back to the good ole days! Prices are more than reasonable and the quality in everything on their menu is top notch.

My favorite and all time best breakfast place EVER. Rich and his team provide a classic ski town breakfast and handmade donuts. Only take cash and a local favorite. Been going to DLD for 15 years. My first stop whenever i go home #Breckenridge

When ever I need some donuts this is the place to go. Beyond the donuts there is a short order cook to make you some eggs or pancakes. If its during ski season the line can be out the door on weekends if you get there after 8.30 am.

Ordered the chicken fried steak yesterday and came back today for the corned beef hash. Both were delicious, generous portions, high quality ingredients. Must visit in Breckenridge, and the best option for early morning breakfast!

good breakfast options with really nice people. I left my cash behind and they let me ake the food home to my kids so they could have breakfast while I brought back the money. Who does that anymore? they do and I was greatful.

Live in the area. Been here 3 times. Each time I end up throwing away most of the dough nuts I bought. Their dining food might be decent? Doughnuts suck! Prices are high as is in breck. Customer service isnt bad.

A hearty breakfast is a necessity to fuel the engine before a hard day of skiing, and that is just what you find at daylight. Reasonable prices, good portions, prompt service.

This place was WAY better than the Daylight Donuts by my office in Texas. Dont count this place out for o ly having donuts. They serve great full breakfast options as well!

Simple breakfast, good doughnuts, easy-to-drink coffee. Happy people behind the counter. Eclectic decorating on the walls. Try not to miss this place. You will return.

Lady at counter was rude. Wouldnt serve us breakfast 30 minutes before closing. Tried to order donuts and she nearly yelled at us. Donuts were good, but not going back.

The biscuts and gravy were awesome. The house coffee was meh. The line was long and place was packed but when we ordered there was a table available. Quick service.
