Pure Pleasure is a family-owned adult toy store in downtown Santa Cruz--but not one of those sketchy places. There are reasons theyve been voted best adult store in SC so many times! The live plants, local artists shows, and store arrangement provide a much classier atmosphere than other similar stores. Amy and Janis, the owners, are friendly and very helpful.They really do sell something for everyone--whether youre buying your very first vibrator or are experienced with kink. If they dont have what you need theyll special order it. The one down-side is that some things are a bit pricey--but I think it is because they offer high-quality products. They seem really dedicated to educating the community--offering sex education classes of all sorts in the store and even ones that you can stream online from home! Highly recommend it!

My favorite adult store ever! Theyve got a great selection for their small-ish size and are very LGBTQI and alternative-lifestyle-friendly. The staff really knows what theyre talking about and are always down to help you with your questions. And they have classes! Awesome educators from all over the country come by to teach topics ranging from rope-bondage to open-relationships to prostate stimulation. Definitely the best place to go for all your intimate needs!
