ZONKEY ZONKEY ZONKEY-EY-EY-EY WHATS IN YO SHOP, IN YO SHOP? ZONKEY ZONKEY ZONKEY-EY-EY-EY-OH *aggressively headbangs* *coughcough* Zombie by The Cranberries anyone? Ah but what is in the small shop, Zonkey, that is located next to Minato Japanese Cuisine and underneath Nikaku Japanese Arts? Answer: -A window display of a boo-dacious slimer with a thick booty. -The Dopest of the dopest enamel pins (only for about 10$ each) including classic characters/icons like the hockey mask killer Jason, Star Trek, Chucky minus his wifey, The Simpsons, Dragon Ball Z, Bobs Burgers, and ET in a freakin burrito (IK cool right). Think gory/retro/vintage themed with a side of cute and quirky miscs. -Kidrobot, Robotech, Anime, Medicom, Funko Pop, Transformers, Marvel, blind boxes, vinyl action figures, etc etc. Perf for you toy collectors and/or toy gift givers. I remember seeing these guys at the SubZERO festival and immediately taking one of their cool eye-poppin electric green logo stickers and eyeing their unique pins. I may not be an avid toy collector, but I am definitely a pin/sticker addict. :p Sadly, I did not purchase any rad pins that day, but made a promise to myself to come back to their physical location one day. 5 months rolls by and hey whaddaya know Im in japantown and see their sign! Since I wasnt alone, I didnt really have a chance to peruse everything, but oooh girl I fell in love. Truly it was love at first slimer-booty-sight. Ill be back fosho my funny finger-in-hole pin, sriracha pin, ET burrito pin, tupac pin, and Glenn Funko Pop (*cries rip Glenn and NO Im still not over his fictional characters death). FYIs -Local fliers located in the front on the floor near the cool zombie-hand-plant-in-a-pot. -Employees are super kind and informative. (-: -Plenty of parking nearby either on the street or across the empty lot (which used to be Chinatown) next to the Mio apartments. -Maximum capacity is probably like 4-5 peeps not including the employee. -You can sell stuff to them. Just send an email or inquire in person. -Theyre closed on Mondays. -Sometimes you can see their stuff at SubZERO. -I believe you can also order items from them if they dont have that item in stock PLUS free shipping. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me! Just like I love my Cranberries, I love my small business shops especially those with a lil POP and the name of a donkey and a zebras lovechild. If ever youre in the area definitely stop by at Zonkey! ///TOYS OVER BOYS !!!
