I do not really like to give out bad reviews, and I probably wouldve given 5 stars if not for the bad experience. But this isnt the first negative review this artist has received. I booked an appointment nearly a month ago, and as I am traveling I could not meet the artist ahead of time. I tried to email them to no avail. When the shop called to reconfirm the appointment a week before I voiced my concern that I could not get a hold of the artist. They assuaged my concerns and all was well. I arrived for my appointment - which was originally for the day before but they called to reschedule to the following day. The artist didnt even know what I wanted, which I had stated previously in two emails and over the phone with the employee who booked me. Two hours and some brainstorming later he decided to not do the tat - reasoning he wasnt comfortable with it, and I can understand that. But if he wouldve read the emails sent nearly a month beforehand he couldve told me he couldnt do the tat, and I couldve scheduled with another artist who could while in San Fran. I guess the feeling I got from this experience is that the artist didnt have much consideration for the customer. And I left San Fran without a tat. But the shop is pretty neat inside, also quite clean. And in the end I got my deposit back from them.

OLIVER is going to give this shop a bad name. Drawing terrible, adolescent, child like drawings, and charging people a non refundable $100.00 when I was other shops are charging about that for the tattoo, then when you are confronted about it you have an ugly attitude and say "oh well, its mon refundable"?? A two year old could have incorporated a better description than you did. I will make sure to tell any and everyone that you have zero integrity and also, tjay your morals are non existent. . How can you live with yourself doing that to people?

I would like to tell how much I am disappointed in overall experience. I wanted to give my daughter a great gift and have wonderful experience turning her scars and pain into something beautiful and positive. Instead after few sessions with Salem we had nothing but disappointment in design he slappy drew for us, his lack of attentions to details to tailor this tattoo to the needs of covering her scars. Most at all his personal attitude toward us as clients. We lost time and money. I would not recommend to anyone!

Ive worked with MANY tattoo artists and my two favorites are at this place. Salem and Oliver are great artists as well as entertaining and fun! Go in and talk to them if you want a tattoo. Connect and collaborate! Dont call it in or email it like its a fast food order. They have a lot of business and theres a reason for that. Ive never come across anyone who was unhappy with work they have gotten done there.

The shop is clean and well equipped. Salem is not only really experienced and truly great at what he does... he is also a great person whos positive energy comes out in his work. He is not your average tattoo artist who takes your money, slams some ink into your skin and youre out the door. Go and check out the shop for yourself and talk to him, you will feel the difference immediately!

Ive had both sleeves done by Salem and a cover up on my leg. All the pieces are great. Ive had work done by him in a shop (Ritual) in Denver and had work done at Eye of the Tiger. It has always been a great experience and I recommend Salem and Eye of the Tiger to all of my friends.
