Tried calling first, tried walking in. Seemed like customers were a nuisance to the staff for wanting to pay them for their time. Was told that wanting the tattoo I asked for (one color fake birthmark the size of a 50cent piece) was "really specific" with a groan. How dare a heavily tattooed person already know what they want when they want to pay for a service. Find another shop, literally anyone is probably better

I went to a different tattoo parlor in the area and called a few more, and this place was by far the most helpful, informative, and welcoming. I was able to walk in and get a tattoo exactly like I wanted. I was just getting small words, and the other tattoo parlor had told me Id have to get them about 5x the size I wanted. It was my first tattoo and D helped me out along the whole process! Highly recommend!

This shop was recommended by my regular shop back home in Seattle. From the beginning, Brandon treated me the utmost respect and was the pure definition of professional. He sketched my idea quickly and offered incredible insight to make it even better. The tattoo experience itself was the best Ive ever had! I went to Avalon on the advice of a friend. After looking at everyones artwork, I chose Heather. My daughter, who is an artist, drew for for Fathers Day and I wanted that inked onto my shoulder. Heather was very nice and did a good job. She even made a few suggestions to my daughters artwork, which I accepted.

Wow, this guy was mean! I asked for some information and a tattoo and the guy would not answer my questions. He kept saying things like "you wouldnt understand". No help at all. Instead I went to Jade Tattoo down the street. The place is not as impressive but the guy was very helpful and the art looks great.

Hands down the best tattoo shops around. I have had several pieces done there including a portrait of Johnny Cash. Mike Stobbe and Fip are amazingly talented artists. The shop is very clean. Everyone there is friendly. I cant wait to get my next tattoo from Mike!

I have had tattos done all over California. By far avalon 2 is the best artwork/experience Ive had to date. Dave is an amazing artist his attention to detail, line and color work are ridiculous. Lord Mothra will forever live on!!!
