During my quick visit to Sacramento I was taken to this hidden gem! Sweet Dozen not only had impeccable service but their donuts were worth the trip from Canada alone! With so much variety I couldnt choose just one so I had to try them all! Loved it so much that I went back to grab a bunch before my flight home to share. Everything is "made fresh" in house the same morning and you can definitely tell from the first bite! Their staff, especially the amazing girl who works there were quick, friendly and dedicated! You can tell from the moment you walk through the door that the family who built this shop from the ground up has a whole lot of passion and dedication! Keep it up Sweet Dozen!! Canada needs more donut shops like you guys!! Will always come back!

My first time in this store since theyve changed over. I went in this morning at 6 am on my way to work. There was one customer ahead of me getting a large order. The woman behind the counter greeted me. After a few minutes she said sorry for the wait. She then began transferring the customers order from small boxes to a big box. She then put the box on the counter & without saying anything walked in the back room leaving both of us to wait in the lobby with no one helping us. I waited a few more minutes & then finally left. I never did see the employee come back out. Im sure the owners of this business are nice & they probably have good donuts. However when you have no customer service it turns customers off.

They have the most intresting gourmet donuts in the area and at a good price. My family likes the Bacon topped maple bars, chocolate rounds with m&ms and the cream cheese stuffed donuts. They also will add ice cream to the center and who doesnt like an donut stuffed with ice cream? The dough tastes better than any donut I have had, the staff are always super nice and I just got home and surprisingly found they gave me a few extra donuts becuase I ordered so many. I usually dont leave feedback but they deserve it.

No complaints and only compliments for the food and service here. Great quality doughnuts. Flavor and texture are spot on for the basics and they seem to always be trying something new out, i.e., malasadas, ice cream creations, etc. Service is always friendly with a greeting and no cheap sales pitches to buy more or tip them. Also, they will hook you up with a bakers dozen (and even another spare sometimes) when you get a dozen. Best deal for the best doughnuts around Sacramento.

I was really excited to try this place. Sadly I was very disappointed. We went around 930-10 their wasnt much of a selection which is fine because we like regular non-fancy doughnuts as well. We bought a chocolate sprinkle doughnut, an oreo mint doughnut, a chocolate log, and a butterfinger doughnut. After eating the oreo doughnut I felt sick to my stomach... they werent bad but Ive definitely had better. I dont think Id go back Ill be sticking to my local doughnut shop.

The best donuts and "doissants" (a croissant made like a donut) in town! This place has great fresh donuts each day. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Ive never had a better experience in a donut shop. Its what you think a donut shop should be. They also serve coffee. My favorite is their chocolate covered doissant. But they have so many good choices and fun flavors, including maple bacon, youll never get bored!

Best Donuts Ever!!! I live in San Francisco and even San Francisco doesnt have donuts as fresh and delicious as these. Anytime Im driving back and forth to Tahoe, I make a point to stop at Sweet Dozen! Mouthwatering donuts, crafted perfectly and friendly service as well. A note of caution they close at 1pm, so this is definitely a morning place.

One of the best places for donuts in Sacramento, hands down. As I walk in, the owner is one of the coolest people Ive ever met. Down to earth and just really friendly. If you have a chance to walk in, try a dozen of their amazing donuts. They have a bacon maple donut that is awesome and greatly priced.

Ive come a couple times now and every time they have satisfied and delighted me! From a wide variety of unique and delicious doughnuts to good coffee and pleasant service, A Sweet Dozen is a great spot! If you get one of their ice cream filled doughnuts, I recommend eating in.

One of the best donut places in the area if youre like me and prefer the fresh and more airy style of donuts opposed to dense. There is a premium to the quality, although not much in my own eyes I have brought people here who balk at some of the prices.

Prices are reasonable, donuts were special. Not your typical donut shop, they make some creative style yumminess. The Doissant is amazing! $10.50 for an assorted dozen is a great price for fancy donuts!
