I will never purchase anything from here again. We bought my wedding ring here at the Arden Fair Mall store. The sales staff was great while trying to make a decision on which ring to buy. That service stopped once my ring was purchased and the problems began. First problem, the day of our wedding I went in to pick up my ring and found it was sized wrong (too small). Not a big deal, I could still get it on and thought I’d just have it fixed later. Wedding goes on no problem and we are off to our honeymoon. Second problem, on the 3rd day of our trip I noticed my white gold (P4r) ring is very yellow. We return home and go into the store and speak with the store manager Tom. He (and all the other sales people) tells us they have never seen anything like that and they want to contact the company that makes the ring. A few days go by and Tom calls me to say they will be replacing the ring. A few months go by and I head in to have the ring cleaned because I can see what looks like dirt under one of the diamonds (Third problem). They take it in the back clean it up but it still looks a little dirty and ask me to come back when the jeweler is in. Two days later I head back in and Tom and the jeweler are looking at the ring now. After looking at it, Tom tells me that someone used a jeweler tool on the ring and damaged the ring (in a very accusing manner) and that it would be about $75 in gold to fix the damaged area. After arguing that I do not own any jeweler tools they finally decide to fix it. The next day a small diamond falls out of the ring somewhere in my front lawn (fourth problem). I again head back to the store and Tom, once again in a very accusing manner, tells me that diamonds don’t just fall out. Now, the diamond that fell out was maybe .05 of a carat (very small) and has to be very inexpensive. Again, after arguing more and basically being called a liar in the middle of the store, Tom said they will fix the ring. A few months go by and I am starting to notice that the ring is now turning very yellow again (fifth problem) so I head back in. Tom looks the ring over and tells me it just needs to be cleaned. He takes it in the back and returns in a few minutes with my ring which did look better. Another week goes by and my ring is now yellow again (sixth problem). So once again I head back in and now Tom tells me that it is probably turning yellow because I have been changing my newborn’s diapers and there must be some chemical reaction going on. With pure disgust, I ask him if he is joking and he told me no, he has seen it many times. I have yet to go back because Tom clearly does not care about the customers once they have made their purchase. I will never buy anything there again after all of this trouble and do not recommend anyone to purchase anything from there. This was all over a men’s wedding band that cost around $500… maybe that was the problem, I didn’t spend enough money there. I do fully recommend Jared the Galleria of Jewelry on Arden Way, they are very helpful and have great customer service!

What an incredible experience. We shopped for an engagement ring at 5 other stores after going here first and eventually came back and purchased an engagement ring from this store. We dealt solely with Shane, and let me say he was incredible. If youre an expert in jewelry maybe you wouldnt appreciate it, but neither my girlfriend or I had a clue when we started what we were looking for. He was so patient and so knowledgeable. He did not try to push us to purchase anything. We experienced several "pushy" salesmen from other stores even at Arden Fair mall. If youre going to Arden Fair please do not bother with the other two stores upstairs unless youre specifically going for Vera Wang from Zales. Local company with experience and the best price youre going to get. If youre new to jewelry and I suppose most are new to buying engagement rings, please visit this store. Ive been in sales in various fields myself and I can assure you a pressure-free environment to learn exactly what youre looking for (way more than youll ever need to know about understanding diamond quality and ratings), an excellent deal, and great salespeople. Ask for Shane hes the best jewelry salesman wed run across after several days of trying rings. Hes the bald guy with the mustache (and a bow tie at least the times we were there).

Since childhood I remember going to DeVons with my father for jewelry for my mother, Originally the location in Roseville (now closed) by Macaroni Grill. The definition of respect and comfort go hand in hand with this company. Recently I purchased my engagement ring followed by wedding band at a trunk show event they had. I was referred to Shawn Trujillo by a coworker and I have never been more pleased. When you go and spend money at a jewelry store, I dont care who you are.. you want to feel as if you have gotten a good deal. The education behind the Dimond, sales staff, cleanliness, comforbility is worth the price I paid for the ring. I highly recommend seeing Shawn or anyone at the Arden location. Eveytime I walk in for a cleaning or a question they all remember me by name, and always greet you with a smile... mind you I purchased the engagement ring 6 months ago. Thats customer service folks! Remember, Kay, Zales etc are all big box stores and are corporate.. DeVons is still a Mom an Pop organization which tells when you do business with them. Im blessed and glad that I made the decission to choose DeVons- (never want to dissapoint your parents lol) I fully believe you will too. Anyone looking for a high quality jewelry store, or a question .. I highly recommend DeVons in the Arden location..

I went to DeVons to purchase my wife a necklace for Valentines Day. I was a little nervous because I havent purchased any jewelry in about 15 years. I was greeted by Tom and we looked at the necklaces and I really liked the selections, but I just couldnt find the right one. Then Tom asked me if she might like a bracelet and I never thought about buying her one. We looked at the bracelets and I found one that was really nice and knew she would like it. I purchased the bracelet and gave it to her on Valentines Day and she loved it! I usually dont post reviews but after the experience at DeVons and the reaction from my wife I want to thank DeVons and Tom for making the day so special for her. Rich

We were greeted by Manny the first night we came in. Instantly loved his customer service. He didnt haggle, he didnt pressure us into anything. I showed him what i liked and he showed me some options. I fell in love with a Simon G engagement ring. He was so personable and has such a fantastic sense of humor. We felt so welcome, we were all cracking jokes and looking at everything. It was an amazing experience. We didnt purchase anything the first night we were there, but we were so impressed with everything that we HAD to come back. We just left Devons and I got my dream ring. I couldnt be happier. Everyone at this location is so kind. If you need any jewelry, come to devons and ask for Manny!
