I would like to send a huge shout out to the cashier Dom/Dominique. This young man is so delightful and deserves to be recognized by this company. I have been through his line multiple times over the last few months, and he has some of the best customer service I have ever received. He always engages with any children that are with their parents, he compliments each customer with genuine attentiveness, and is always willing to go the extra mile. This young man is an exemplary model of kindness and pristine customer service. As a former manager in retail, I can tell you that he is what every business needs to model their customer service as. Thank you Dom for being you! Keep up the amazing work. You will go far in life with such a genuine heart.

A pleasant Redlands hangout with an excellent assortment of books, magazines, coffee and pastries. This ubiquitous bookstore is never too noisy. Barnes and Noble is conveniently situated in the Redlands Mall District, so there are plenty of shopping opportunities for regular folks. If your tastes gravitate towards Tiffany and Company, you can afford to drive 40 to 70 miles to Costa Mesa, Palm Desert or Beverly Hills. Pick up a coffee or soda at Barnes and Noble to satiate your thirst before you start your shopping sojourn. See you at Barnes and Noble. I will be the one reading real estate, motorcycle and travel books while sipping on decaf. Life is good.

This store has nothing but items for the Nook, and the associates that work in this store are nothing short of useless. They are unhelpful and not knowledgeable. Every time I try to purchase a book its never in stock, but it can always be ordered. Every time I have ordered for in-store pick up, the book never arrives on time, or the wrong book arrives. Unless you are looking for something for the nook, a childs book, or a game, going to Barnes & Noble will be a HUGE waste of time, along with an aggravating experience. If you want to be an online book store...FINE...then close your doors and dont mislead people by calling yourself a BOOK STORE.

Sometimes you just need a book. Yes, Amazon is cheaper, but maybe you want to start reading NOW! or you feel like browsing and find something very interesting and think "why wait" and buy it now. This is the perfect place to do that. They also have a great kids book section which is open and allows for kids to go around and find something that interests them. A big downside is that there is almost always a line and it takes forever to get another register open. If youre just for a stroll in the area this is a great place to peruse literature and find something interesting, but definitely dont be in a hurry.

Place is quiet and most of the staff is extremely friendly. Cafe inside is nice and food is actually pretty good. My biggest complaint is probably the fact there literally are only two outlets and only two decent sized tables. If youre going to study make sure your devices are fully charged and hope youre lucky to get a table big enough to study at. And it has to be one or the other because outlets are only next small tables. Bigger tables are next to no outlets. As for shopping purposes they have a good selection of books and can order anything that isnt in stock.

My sister and I stopped in to the cafe to purchase some teas and my sister noticed that they had their cupcake signs mixed up so she informed the barista Eli C.( the name on the receipt) Responded with "well yeah but Im sure you can tell the difference its all the same price" in a snippy tone. We shrugged it off and ordered, then while checking out she asked if their chip reader worked and he replies with "well it will when I tell you its ready" all in all it was terrible customer service and we will not be returning

I wish there was a better places to sit and look at what you are buying. There is the kids play section with small seating, the game area which was hosting a game night and was not ideal to sort through books, and Starbucks which was full of people and smelled like burnt cookies. How hard is it to sprinkle a couple extra chairs around? The selection is decent but they didnt have the exact book I was looking for, its clean and a nice place to hang out but definitely can do better.

Great service, very helpful personnel, when to use an on line 10% discount coupon and was told it could only be used online although it did not state that on the coupon, our cashier was more than happy to try and sell us a membership for $25 and give us a coupon for $1 off of cheesecake..... WTH! Oh well the savings would have only been $2 but its the point and the waste of my time!

Nice and clean relax area. Perfect place to read, like any bookstore should be. One major problem, though, are some of the people who go here. Ive been coming here for years and seen that people dont wash their freaking hands after using the restroom. Im 19 years old and seeing grown ass men leave the restroom without washing is beyond me. Dont shake hands with anyone here.

This place has a really good atmosphere. Its not as quiet as a library but not as loud as a store. It has a little Starbucks inside with places to sit, eat and read one of the books. They have a wide variety of books for sale and even a place to try out the tablets. Prices for most of the books are high but its worth it if you love reading.

I went to this location in look of Funko Pop! figures. When I found a figure that I wanted that was on sale. The woman at the register made a scene and wouldnt honor the sale price. Disappointed and wont return soon.

I love the atmosphere in here. It always has lots of people but still quiet with a Starbucks inside. The Starbucks isnt a "real Starbuck" though, so they dont take gift cards :(

Getting ready to cancel my membership. I can find better prices online for the exact same books. No price matching available. I think I just bought my last book with them

This is a good Barnes and Noble. The onl reason I give it 4 stars is because it is not as big as others I have been to, and thus doesnt have as much in stock.

I love Barnes and Noble. Its one of my favorite places to go. The personnel are courteous and helpful. For children it holds worlds of delight for them.

Good selection of books and magazines, but the staff can be a bit neurotic at times so its best if you know what you are looking for before you go in.
