My favorite tattoo shop ever! Being a girl getting a tattoo is much like getting your car worked on by a mechanic. Googly eyed weirdos or just an uncomfortable feeling! Many shops make me feel so uncomfortable feeling like, here I am.. stuck under a gun.. waiting for it to be over.... NOT THE CASE HERE!! Theyre very professional here, you feel comfortable the moment you walk in the door. Nice clean shop, Nicely decorated and comfortable! No rude people, no drama, no judgement, just cool people and customers!!! Hugo has an amazingly steady hand. No bumps or inconsistency in the lines, color and shading is awesome. He is definitely an artist! And FLASH?? Whats that? Oh yeah, its just a GUIDELINE as to what you may be looking for... an idea... a true artist takes the idea and runs with it turning it into ART! Being an artist myself, I must appreciate an artistic eye and great style (Im just not cool enough to tattoo) LOL I highly recommend all my friends to see Hugo at Dr. Tattoo because he does awesome work and actually has a personality! Parking isnt the greatest but dont let that detour you, worth circling the parking lot for! ;) ADDED BONUS! Im a single mom with limited babysitting availability, my friend was in the same shoes, well there is a great place called McDonalds in the same parking lot. SO She sat with my kids at the playground while I got my ink, then I sat with her son while she got hers... viola.. cant keep us down! :)

Came to the studio 12/2/16 Prior to setting up an appointment with Hugo, I conducted my own research. After discovering his studio I felt that this was the right place to do my piercings. Hugo has specialized training in sanitation/sterilization, cross contamination, and in blood borne pathogens. When setting up my appointment we went over all my questions and concerns, he was very confident and reassuring over the phone. The day of, I was first greeted by a very warm welcoming staff. The studio’s interior is professionally decorated with sample pieces and canvas art for purchase. Upon enter entering the area it is very clean, each artist station is well spaced out, organized, and sterilized. As well as a designated waiting area for guest and friends. As for the piercings everything was laid out in front me as he followed proper sterilization technics and proper disposal of equipment. Once we were done we went over proper cleaning and care. We also went over my last bit of questions. I would honestly recommend this place for any first timers or experienced clients. Not only are they well knowledgeable but also offer wide variety of services such as (tattoos, body piercings and permanent makeup). I look forward to have my future works done here!

I recently started going to Hugo for my work, after having gone through a few others who were less than impressive. My niece, both of my daughters, my boyfriend, my brother and a friend all go to Hugo when we feel the itch. His work is stellar; clean lines, beautiful art, beautiful colors & black/gray, careful placement, great advice. The shop is the cleanest shop Ive ever been to, which is HUGE for me. All of the guys are really cool, Hugo is a bit of a jokester, which takes a little of the sting away. He listens to you and gives his opinions. My first one with him, I only had a general idea of what I wanted and I walked out SO happy with what he had done and the ideas that he offered up. I dont live close by but Ill never go anywhere else.

I love this studio. It is such a friendly and low key place. I came in just to ask some questions about a possible cover up and ended up with a great tattoo. Steven answered all my questions with honest advise and there was no pressure. I know that cover ups have there own challenges. He took the time to make sure I knew what I was getting and what he could do. The fact that he took my idea and transformed it into a work of art that I love is truly amazing. This is by far the best experience I have even had at a tattoo studio and will be going back for my next one soon.

AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE PLEASE DONT LET THESE OTHER RATINGS FOOL YOU I WAS LITERALLY BROUGHT IN AS THE OWNER HUGOS "FRIEND" SHORTLY AFTER MY ARRIVAL HE NOT ONLY TRIED KISSING ME AND TOUCHING ME BUT HE ALREADY STARTED MY COVER UP, IN WHICH, IT IS BELOW MY HIP BONE,,, I ASKED FOR 1 THING HE DID ANOTHER, I ASKED HIM TO ONLY MAKE IT SO BIG HE DIDNT LISTEN AND TO BOOT I PAID 400$$$ FOR A HACK JOB TRUST ME PLEASE DO NOT GO INTO THIS PLACE HES A PIG AND NOW DUE TO HIS MISTAKES I HAVE TO HAVE A REAL TATTOO ARTIST FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX THIS MESS HE MADE

Steven "Rascon" is an extremely professional tattoo artist. Being tattooed can be a little daunting, but Steven is very affable and makes the tattoo experience pleasant. He constantly asks for feedback during the tattoo to ensure the tattooee is feeling okay. Not to mention, his work is badass and bangs pieces out quick! As long as Im getting tattoos, I will keep going back to Steven. Thank you, brother! Keep up the phenomenal work!

I came in today as a walk in and Hugo was so great! Super kind and very interested in what I wanted to get. He definitely is very detail oriented and made sure I was aware of everything that was going on during the process. I love my design and how he executed it. He is super duper talented and I cant wait to go back for future art. Highly recommend going to this place as I am sure you will have a great experience.

Totally recommend anyone coming here for piercings and tattoos Hugo does such a great job! Not only does he sit and explain things to you hes patient and understating not like in other places where you feel like there just trying to get there money and finish! Nooope! Absolutely amazing experience. Dr. Hugo was so professional and precise. He pierced mine and my friends industrial bar. He always honors his deals. Hes helpful for every piercing question you might have. He is so kind and passionate about his work but still humble! Very upright establishment.
