Its difficult to offer a proper review of this store considering theyre the only major grocer in town and there are so many things that you can only purchase here. Theyre 24/7/365, have a respectable bakery, and are more affordable than the other grocers here if you use their Club Card. On the flip side, their staff is always dejected and unmotivated, forced to handle too much traffic with perpetual understaffing, and a lot of details fall through the cracks, especially in the floral, produce and hot foods departments. *shrug* We all have to eat, and theyre how I manage to do so on a regular basis. You gotta take the good with the bad.

This isnt the most up to date Safeway. The deli department is remarkably slow so place your order and come back for it after you shop. Sandwiches are generally pretty good and its about the best deal in town for what you get but youre gonna wait a bit...especially if there is a line. Floral department is pretty good. Prices crank up on special holidays of course. Parking is super tightly spaced, so if you dont want a door ding, park far away or at least a few spaces from the compact spots. You have to go across the parking lot and across a street if you want to find a Starbucks.

Everyone of Safeways employees except for maybe one or two have been awesome, James, Michael, Julian, I felt they went out if their way to help me find what I was looking for, very professional Pleasant and polite and I didnt get the names of the women checkers who were very patient professional and calm, polite and efficient, when it was very busy

Too crowded, not enough room to get carts through all of the displays everywhere in the store, never enough of the on sale items, misplaced items on shelves. Nice friendly folks in the deli area. overall reduction of name brand items being replaced by Safeway brand items.

Its a little clusterd seems old but theres the ocean right down the street when I go I visit glass beach and yes its a beach made of glass from way back in the day theres multiple spots with glass you have to walk around to find each beach not to much walking

Has more exotic fruits than most stores up north, but lacking in non-dairy options in comparison to other stores. Very crowded, too many people and not enough lame room. People just linger in the way when you are trying to get through or do your shopping

Since this is the only place in town, be prepared for bad service. The deli counter sucks. You arent doing me any favors by helping me, ITS YOUR JOB. Cant wait to get away from here. Manager isnt nice either.
