Now that Borders Bookstore is gone, Barnes & Noble was my next pick. I enjoy reading so obviously, this is a great place for us readers to purchase books. Their prices are usually decent if you arent in the mood for ordering online from Amazon and waiting for your book to show up in the mail. The one thing I loved about Borders was the business owner/student discount membership that gave 20% off of everything - even sale prices. I asked Barnes & Noble if they have this - they dont. Instead, they have a "membership" for $25/year that gives you an additional 10% off of their current prices - even sale prices. Most people will have to work out some math to see if the membership is worth it for them. For me, not yet. I do enjoy sitting in the cafe area and reading, although it can get loud at times since its not a reading-specific area of the store. Still, you cant beat a cup of tea and a great book.

Their website doesnt even work, they try to rob you by making your memberships fast shipping hard to reach. It didnt let me use my fast shipping with my membership so I signed out and back in and it said I had to renew my membership and then 10 minutes later it said it worked but actually didnt. I need a book for a class by next week. This is trash. My membership is up to date. I would rate them 0 out of 5 stars if I could. This has wasted 2 hours of my life. Its 12:00 AM I need to get up at 5:00 AM. I dont have time for their scams.

They need to add more sitting places where the books are...some people dont want to sit where the café is and they dont want to feel like they have to buy something from the café...I was sitting in a corner reading some recipes cuz I love cooking and one of the workers came and told me I cant sit on the floor...I wouldnt have if there was an empty chair at the time there were only two chairs and both were taken..anyway just wanted to state a point not that Im complaining about the worker he is just doing his job

I usually walk around looking at books with my girlfriend. I usually get her random items or a book. I mostly look for yugioh manga. I wish they would keep the promo cards that are in the manga at the front desk. Most of the books are opened and the promo card is stolen. People would buy the manga if the card was still there.

I used to love going with my daughter and we would spend hours there reading. Id take my nook. We stopped going since they took away the comfortable sofas and chairs. No where to sit anymore only some hard chairs that are not very comfortable.

I have never come in here and left right away. There is a Starbucks inside and there is a music and movie section. I get stuck in the book section and always come here with my sister to nurture her want to read.

I love Barnes and Noble! I wish I can go there more often, but this Barnes and Noble is great. And the manager, Rick, along with the rest of the B&N team, is very sweet and helpful when you have questions.

I love that there are still a few brick and mortar bookstores left. I love browsing through everything. I bring my son on Monday mornings for the story book time along with coloring. He loves it.
