I would give this no stars but I had to put one to write a review. I went here to get my tattoo done and it faded not once but twice. After spending over 200$ on it, I came back one day to find the original guy who did my tattoo was gone. I talked to someone else who was nice and said how much it would cost, then later I changed my mind and told him I was sorry and he said that it was fine, that I could come back anytime. So you can imagine my shock when I arrived and there was some man there asking me "How many times" was I gonna "set up an appointment" and then "bounce" and that I should "go somewhere else" because it costs them "20-30$" to set up everytime I go and "bounce" on them. I tried to tell him that had only happened once, and that I wasnt told it cost any money to set up but before I could get any words out, I was cut off, and yelled at like a child, being told I had done it twice to two tattoo artists. I was shell-shocked I mean, nobody esp. in the service industry has EVER talked to me like that, and before I knew it, my husband was shoving me out the door but I wish I could have asked WHY I was being talked to like that and why he thought he had permission to be allowed to treat paying customers like that. I will never go back and regret having gone in the first place.

My experience here so far has been just awesome. There is a reason this place was rated the #1 tattoo place in Ventura County for 2014. AJ (Lucky) who has done my tattoo so far, has truly been phenominal. It was my first tattoo (and it is a big piece) so I was a little nervous. AJ is down to earth and truly cared for the detail that I wanted in the tattoo. I would definitely reccomend coming to Bone Deep and getting your tattoo done by AJ if you want your tattoo done well and in a friendly environment! Jared (Cito) and the other staff also contributed to making my experience awesome!

Most shop are very intimating when you walk in. Not this place, very welcoming group of artist. With standing greetings as you walk in. They are very kid friendly and will turn cartoons on for them while they wait. And always have sports on when they air. Everybody talks to each other and its an awesome atmosphere. All the artists are very good at what they do, from American traditional to custom freehand lettering to amazing color or black and grey realism and even girly colorful tattoos. And they have 3 piercers there. Check them out if youre in need of some new work.

The last time I was in this shop it felt like a nasty tattoo shop and I couldnt get an idea across without an ARM and a leg. and now it feels like a classic parlor the whole new staff has a close family feel and are all very artistic and creative . A good selection of art and a very fair price.. he said "its a cool idea so ill hook it up" I gave him my idea came back the next day and he had an amazing sketch of exactly what I envisioned and wanted I just can't draw.. talk to my artist Crash but they are all great.

Please tell me this wasnt what I thought it was. So Im Hispanic, my girl is too. We walk in. Everyone just looks up and continues doing what theyre doing. Were browsing, were obviously showing interest. But no one was asking how they could help us. A few minutes later 2 white girls walk in and stand beside us and are greeted IMMEDIATELY. While were brushed off to the side. Out of the 10+ people that were there, we were the only poc and the only ones who were not helped.

Jasmine is AMAZING! I went in today with my girlfriend Sara to get a few piercings. I got my septum pierced and she did such a great job. I loved how she walked me through everything she was going to do and it was such a relief to go to someone who takes theffect time to do so. She is so good! Definitely will be coming back to her for my future piercings!
