Karen is the greatest experience that I have ever had with anything to do with my diminished eyesight. I had sort of fallen in love with a couple of frames that I had and was about to throw them out, when I discovered Karens shop. She took one look at them and told me she could and would fix them for me. She researched the parts needed and discovered that they were not easily available, but this did not deter her. She let me know the she had some spare parts at home that she had kept from other repairs and was sure to find what she needed there and that she did. She returned my glasses in a condition as good as new. I was overwhelmingly satisfied. Karen is the greatest. She is one of the most kind , courteous, and conscientious human being that Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting in a business setting. If you need optical services you cant go wrong with Karen.

Ive had the same frames for 6.5 years, and had not trusted myself (or anyone else) to pick out new ones. I heard about Karens process and thought Id give it a try. She has great service, taking time to help you find the right frames before you order, then adjusting them to make sure they fit your head when you go to pick them up! EDIT: I have had my frames for almost a year now, and have gone in a few times to have them adjusted/lenses replaced, and Karen has been wonderful each time!

I would never have chosen the frames I now wear happily. I dont have an eye for choosing flattering frames for my face, but the owner of this place does. I never get complements on my glasses. Karen knows what frames fit each person, not only based on what looks good on you, but what fits your personality as well!! I became Karens customer when she worked in the Castro and I am happy to drive across the bridge to see her knowing that the frames I get will fit me well. In addition, I like to know that my frames are unique and on top of it all they are very reasonably priced.

Karen with a K is very kind and easy to talk to. She has a really good selection of literally thousands of new and vintage glasses, we had a Ton of fun trying on a few pairs taking pictures and thinking of the possibilities. I was in dire need of glasses repair and she jumped exuberantly to my aid. I ran into a tree branch, had a black eye, and she kept it real :)

Karens shop was about an hour from home, but well worth the drive out to Berkeley. I wanted to check out Moscot frames and her place was the closest to me. She had a great selection and she took time to help me find a nice pair, without feeling rushed. I felt at home the whole time I was there.
