This store has as much selection as the San Francisco store, possibly more in some areas, like the knits section. Make sure you plan on spending some time sifting through bins and really looking at price tags, otherwise you will spend your whole paycheck here ;-) also keep an open mind, you may or may not find a specific thing when you go in as they sell left over fabric from bigger stores, if you are flexible on your project this is a good store to go to.

Great selection and the prices are definitely lower than at some of these boutique fabric stores in the bay area. They also have a really good selection of buttons. Where the boutique stores carry novelty buttons, Discount Fabrics carries buttons of every variety. (I recently found some for a trench coat). There fabric is organized by content and weave type but not by color or pattern or weight, so you do have to search a lot for what you want.

This place has great deals on unusual fabrics--tons of vinyl, upholstery, costume fur, oddities. This may not be the place to go if youre really sure about exactly what you want, because the selection can be just plain weird at times. I do, however, love the place... I just supplement my bargain findings with pricey stuff from Britex.

Great store! Have bought a few fabrics there. They have a great selection, fantastic prices and awesome customer service, friendly and helpful. Got me connected to a great seamstress who put together a whole project that turned out beautiful, made our bedroom spectacular. I highly recommend this place! BY

Horrible customer service. All I needed was a simple question answered I waited 20 mintues and was pushed to the side and other customers were served. I walked out and took my business else where. I would give this place no stars but theres not an option for it.

So much and the staff os so knowledgeable about stock and creating it makes it great to get started. The ethnic fabics are lacking tho they have a few from each culture but nothing on the higher ends. Wont stop me feom going at all love this place

discount fabrics is a wonderful find for your diy projects! we found a variety of fabrics for redecorating our home. just be prepared to dig through barrels if you have something super specific in mind!
