We have adopted 2 rescue pups here Frodo and Cupid now known as Ranger and Scout. Every person here genuinely cares about the well being of all animals. They work hard everyday dedicating time to make a difference in this community, connecting animals with people for a mutually beneficial companionship. If you are looking for a dog or cat I would highly recommend checking this place out before going anywhere else. My Boyfriend and I ended up there by chance or maybe fate? Ever since then we visit regularly to shop at the thrift store and bring by our pups to visit the people who saved them. Whether youre looking to adopt or simply to shop at a great thrift store this is place to go. Good quality and lots of variety at this thrift store and proceeds go to vet bills, spaying/neutering, feeding and boarding costs etc.

I love shopping this place - high-end used clothing, cheep. I just bought 3 sets of custom drapes for less than a single panel wouldve cost, new. My antique bent wood cane-bottom rocker (circa 1880) cost just $35, Irish fisherman sweater $6.00... you have to dig, but the rewards are worth it! Sure the service can get irregular - as may happen with non-profits that are volunteer-staffed. But their cause is a good one - lo-cost spay/neuter & feral cat programs. They even have an adoption room to visit & play with available cats and kitties...

The owner is the rudest person I have ever met. I wanted to adopt a dog and she had the worst customer service ever. She does not know how to take care of these animals and she hung up on me several times after telling at me for trying to have a civil conversation about a dog that I really wanted to give a good home to. She treated me like i was stupid even though I have raised dogs from being puppies before. This store is terrible and I would not recommend going there.

Companion Animal Foundation provides amazing loving care for their animals and people adopting them, and purchasing from their thrift shops funds animal care; I also got the best dog ever from Companion Animal Foundation :)

Heaven is a place on earth. Bought a jacket and dress for 15 total. Really kind staff, beautiful live-in cats Queen Trinity and Kiko. Hung out in the kitten room for an hour. I loved it

Its a great thrift shop with quality stuff, and kittens and puppies to boot! If you live in the Humboldt area, this is one of the best places to go if youre into thrifting.
