Their optometrist is usually impatient with us (we have an elderly in the family whose hearing isnt good who also has language barrier issues). We did reschedule elderly family members appt once on a busy Sat. The main optometrist expressed hes unhappy about it, we apologized and explained the circumstances following which the office rescheduled our 2nd appt with a short notice (due to heavy traffic from great race) to a date that we were out of town. We had to reschedule the 3rd appt as we were out of the town for the date thats given to us. When we showed up at our 4th appt, we were told to leave as their main optometrist no longer wants to see our elderly family member due to a total of 4 missed appt when in fact he only missed 1 appt. Obviously, none of us would like to go back there anymore, we never felt welcome there anyways. If you are old with impaired hearing or if English isnt your native language, I highly recommend to go elsewhere.

Very thorough examination, I felt confident I was getting the correct power on my lenses when I left. Also contacted my old eye doctor to avoid having to do an extra exam for contact lenses which saved me 200 bucks. Very professional, highly recommend him.

I used to go here, but no longer. My glasses work, but the bifocal part is useless. I would go back and have them try to fix it, but Halpert has an attitude, so forget it. Ill try somewhere else next time.

Ive been going to Dr Halpert since 2008, both for glasses and a minor medical condition in one of my eyes. Hes friendly, hes quick and efficient in his exam, and makes sure I understand my condition.
