I go into this store quite often to stock up on incense and new books. The reviews about not feeling welcome are VERY accurate. I dont own a car, so I ride a scooter. I always park my scooter and set down my backpack at the front counter the MOMENT I walk through those doors because I already know the drill. Yet every time I do (the girls in there should know me by now) I still get yelled at with the panicked, over-exaggerated "WHOA WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! THAT STUFF IS VERY FRAGILE YOU CANT PUT THAT HERE." I put my stuff in the same exact spot every time, away from breakable stuff. Im not stupid, I respect the items in your store. So then after this happens I have someone following me around the store asking if I need help every 3 minutes because they assume Im going to steal items (also not good for business.) So as Im talking to this lady and she sees the giant $400 rock around my neck, all of a sudden the staff starts being nice to me and gives me privacy to find what I need to find. I picked out my items, go up to the register, and everyone up front disappeared. I had to call someone over after another few minutes of waiting in order to check out. They had a sale going on with the incense, which was 3/$3.50. I picked out 15. Instead of charging me the deal, she charged me for them all individually and 15 incense packs came out to almost $55! I said "thats a crazy price, what happened to the deal on your sign?" And she told me that the computer is supposed to do it automatically and that shes been ringing up people like that all day.. if I didnt catch it-who knows how many folks just got ripped a few extra bucks because they dont pay attention when their items are getting rung up.. Youre supposed to welcome love and light into your lives, but you push away every genuine potential energy. I remember when I could rate this shop 5 stars... cant do that anymore with how badly theyve fallen in their ways.. Very disappointed in the preformance in this store. Enchanted Crystals is A LOT farther away, but at this point- if you wanted to be treated like a respected individual- thats the place to go.

I was encouraged to get a "psychic" reading during the 90s from Jan Ross herself. The person who referred me had had one, and said it was amazing. So I went and had one for $50, and it was the biggest bunch of phoney garbage I have ever witnessed. She even told me that I drive a white car.....that was very psychic, considering my white car was sitting right outside the front window (at that time, she did the "reading" at her home, and my car was parked right out front on the street). Absolutely NOTHING she said in the "reading" came true or was accurate. These charlatans are just clever at picking up on things from their victim and then throwing enough BS out to eventually get something to stick. Its because the fraud victim dearly wants to believe, so they seize anything even close to accurate and are hooked. People that patronize these "psychics" regularly are weak-minded fools who are easily separated from their money. "Psychics" are actually very clever criminals who have learned it is easier to separate people from their money with made-up baloney than with a gun. But at least the criminal who sticks a gun in your face is honestly robbing you. If you want to throw your money away, at least go gamble it away and have some fun with it.

Ill really keep this short because I really could go on forever about why this book store is not necessarily catered to PPL that are advanced in either new age or Pagan practices the vibe was very strange when we walked in we were approached by one of the sales ladies who was not really sure how to help us she was not very knowledgeable in any of the areas we asked her about including the simple ones such as Reiki and crystal work. When we asked the store owner to help us find a specific book, she just pointed them in the general direction did not even try to help them [my bf & the sales lady] find the book after looking for about 15 minutes we stumbled upon the book ourselves and as we were leaving [because they were closing soon] the owner asked us if we had found the book we were looking for without even looking up or making eye contact thus making the vibe even stranger it was not a very at home or cozy feeling you would get from other New Age bookstores. I would only recommend them for incense to be honest.

This place is horrible! They are not friendly or helpful at all, I went in there with my sister and they will follow you around and watch you like hawks. Every time I look at either the books, oils, or anything they went right over there when I was done looking and counted and went through everything to make sure nothing was missing. I went in there before and they tried to charge me a few hundred dollars more than I spent and when I told them and asked them to change it they were appalled that I would ask for my money back because they tried to steal and screw me out of money. All of there stuff is over priced, and I would not waste my time going here. They are not real psychics they are just wannabes who will screw you out of money. I do not reccomend anyone to go here.

I was surprised at how rude the owner of this store is. Even during her readings. I have had psychic readings from the owner and the other psychics they have. I have waited almost a year to review this business to allow for timing to be off or things to happen later than they stated. So far not one single thing they told me has come true. None. I feel that I threw my money down the drain. The things they told me were very detailed and they even supplied dates as to when they would happen. Those dates have come and long gone. Just look at it as expensive entertainment not to be taken seriously. And dont put too much money into it so you dont feel bad about what you lost.

My husband and I went to the store today looking for a specific item. We got followed around, carefully observed by a woman and got asked on multiple occasions if we needed help with something. This woman made us feel unwelcome and she treated us like we are two criminals who went in the store to steal something. I didnt carry my bag and i had no pockets on me, neither did my husband. After being followed around the store, we decided to turn around and just leave. Even though i live right across the store, i will make sure i never go in there again. Terrible experience. They need to work on their customer relations some more.

Disrespectful Staff The staff in this not so delightful establishment are in no way welcoming. When I had a question about the price of an item I approached the woman at the counter. When I asked my question she continued counting change and told me to wait. After she finished I recieved an attitude filled response about the price of the item. Before leaving I was interested in one more item but again no price was listed. Upon asking my question the woman began speaking to me in a condescending manner that showed she had no respect for me or her job. I will never step foot in a new age store again.
