First off let me say sorry for the late delay of posting this review considering my experience here was 11/13/15(Friday the 13th) but let me add that I was just able to put in the Jewelry I actually wanted in 2 months ago. I went to this tattoo and piercing shop because they were doing the famous Friday the 13th deal. So I did the $13 piercing, I got two on the same ear next to each other. Of course the pain was expected but I left there happy with my new piercings and even left the guy a $10 tip for doing the job. However my happiness quickly faded. Now Im not new to piercings, I have my belly done, neck done and another four piercings in each of my ears so when this was still tinder after a month and still red, I became concerned. I went to my usual go to shop, Club Tattoo(the only reason I didnt get the piercings done there is because they dont do the deals but you get what you pay for and I learned this the hard way) I had their piercer take a look at it. Not only did he use too thick of a needle but he also put lip jewelry in my ear!!!!!! The piercer couldnt even take out the jewelry because it was so painful!!! He had to drain my ear and then I had to go back to him two weeks later to get proper jewelry in my ear. And like I said I just got some new jewelry in my ear, the jewelry I actually wanted but because of the placement of the two I am limited to what jewelry I can buy. In my opinion this place sucks!!!! And if your out of ear jewelry tell your customers that!!! Dont f$&@ up their ear!

This is a new place right across from the ASU East Campus. Yes I know they call it "Polytechnic" now but screw them. That is a made up word. Instinktive is a clean, pro shop that does serious work. The artists are consummate professionals. Keith Pulver, the owner, does fantastic work; he also grabbed some of the top talent in the area to work in the shop. Unlike many area shops, they are not flaky and unprofessional. They are communicative and have a good system down for scheduling and follow-up. They seem to follow all the industry best practices for cleanliness. Above all else, their work is top quality for a reasonable price.

Best shop Ive been to. Not really sure about the validity of the other reviews on here, Ive had work done by both Keith and Chris, each piece becoming my new favorite. The prices are what youd expect anywhere that provides the services of ARTISTS, which is what youll find at Instinktive. All but one of the tattoos Ive had there have been freehand and look outstanding. A lot of the other shops in the Valley act like they are celebrities, fail to acknowledge customers, and scoff at anything besides their style. I recommend this place to all my friends, and will be going there for work as long as they are there.

Was looking for a place to get a new tattoo and found Instinktive Tattoo in Gilbert. The place is great! It is clean which means alot to me and the staff was great. I had a tattoo done on my back that tured out great and went back with my best friend for us both to get one. I love this new place and will not go anywhere else to get my tattoos done! I highly recommend Instinktive Tattoo to anyone that wants a great tattoo done by a great place!

Very impressed with this pace and Chris in particular! I went in because I had an eyebrow piercing done in Vegas and I was having some problems. Even thought it wasnt his work, Chris took time with me to explain to me how to care for it (I had gotten bad after care instructions) and even ended up changing out the jewelry for me. He was very nice and helpful when he didnt have to be and I will definitely be back!

Dude! this place BLOOOWWWSSS!!! it sucks bad, I spent 560 bucks on a tattoo that hurt soo freakin bad and it looked like crap! like I paid them to take a crap on my arm. I asked for my money back and the guy started screaminig at me...over paid,junk work and crappy people!

When I came here to get my ears pierced they had no idea what I meant when I said I wanted a 10g and then the guy who pierced me told me the incorrect way to begin stretching my ears. Would deff. not trust them and the entire time I was there I felt uncomfortable.

My husband and I both got tattoos here and it was a great experience. I am definitely going back there for my next tattoo. The work was great, the place was clean, the staff was so nice and the atmosphere was fun. I would definitely recommend Instinktive Tattoo.

Unsure of the quality of the work, however the piercer was so UNKNOWLEDGABLE on his craft I wouldnt even let him pierce my ear. Very unprofessional and lacking any true experience.

Went in to get a tattoo and keith messed it up and now I have scar tissue and its all jacked up I would not go there ever again and hope others dont either. What a jerk!

Came here to get my nose pierced. Very clean and very friendly service. I have had no troubles with my piercing. Definitely coming back for more piercings later on!

Ive had 9 piercings done by these people. I personally cant speak on their tattoos, but I can say I am satisfied with their piercings.

they have scared up me , and my friends there. If its not scared up, the ink fades quickly. I recommend not going there at all.
