Do not go here. No returns, a deceptive owner, and body shaming. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. #1 - Body shaming I was in the dressing room and they fitted me for a 32 when I am normally a 36. The band was very small and tight. I asked if there was anything that could be done about the bulge on my back behind my armpit. The lady who was fitting me said "Thats all us, honey". I do not appreciate being body shamed in a vulnerable position. She could have easily said "lets try a different band" or "thats how this one fits, lets try another" #2 - No returns. Title Nine allows you to return bras for up to 365 days. Khols - free returns. Any place online allows you to return items. This store ONLY offers store credit. This is not a return, but an exchange. No returns? No business from me. #3 - Overwhelming Instead of walking me through the styles and shapes of the available bras, the fitting person brought in about 40 bras. FOURTY. She hung them all up and walked away. I would have preferred her to have me try a few of the styles to help me better understand their inventory, then brought out color options later. #4 - The Owner The original fitting person was leaving for the day, and left me with the owner. She helped me eliminate the options from #2 down to a manageable amount. When I picked one I liked, I was asking her when I was paying the return policy. She said if it is not worn, full refund. If it is worn, half store credit. LIE. I put the bra on at home and started to put on my makeup and I was starting to get a rash from the bra rubbing on me. After 5 minutes, I took the bra off, put it back in the bag and went to return it 2 days later. When I went to return it, the owner said that returns were actually just store credit. This was NOT mentioned when I asked about it. The owner stated "we want our customers to be happy" and I said I was not and she offered to have me try on more bras. I told her I already tried on an ample amount of bras and do not think I will find a bra here. She said that they were a small business and most other places charge for bra fittings. I do not see how this is relevant. If they want to charge for fittings, say so. If you want to build it into the price, say so. Do not try to use a free fitting to guilt a customer into buying or not-returning an item. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I recently went here to find shareware and it was suggested by the store I bought my wedding dress from. I live on the East Side and if I had known that this experience would have been so depressing I wouldnt have driven all the way over there. First of all I went for the experience to find something to smooth the lines to suck in my tummy in my wedding dress. I tried on a corset at the bridal store and I absolutely loved the way I looked in the dress with smoothed lines on my tummy and the feeling of being held in. After being told by the owner at Contours that they would "make it work" I went there (TOTAL WASTE OF TIME). They put me in some sort of weird shape wear that did absolutely nothing for me except just lay on my belly with no sort of tummy control. Nothing like what i tried on at the bridal store and it literally did no "sucking in" and it was just blah. Then she brought me in roughly 20 bras (NOT THE REASON I WAS THERE). She tried to sell me bras instead of what I came there for saying that the bra would somehow make the dress look better. The issue has never been about having support in the dress in the breast area. I told her what I wanted and she kept telling me this wasnt possible and kept telling me if I already have someone who loves me I should love myself or stop eating carbs...etc etc. It got obnoxious. I felt that it became a stand still inside the dressing room with no escape. I felt like she was trying to force me to purchase something even though I wanted nothing that was offered to me. I called my bridal store and my seamstress suggested La Lingerie which I recommend a million times over Contours. Also, I found out Contours will not specialty order anything and they will only sell whats in their store which is probably why I was getting no where in this store. Thank God I didnt purchase anything here because I found just what I was looking for that works perfectly. So....yes indeed there are other options. Dont feel guilted or forced to buy anything in this store. There are many other wonderful lingerie stores in the area who can ACTUALLY help you and actually order you what you need.

Not impressed. I went in for my first professional bra fitting last weekend. I was really excited to find a bra that fit since my current ones are old and all stretched out. She fitted me in the ribcage and I was "exactly" a 38. She didnt fit me across the bust, which I thought was odd. She told me I was a 38 DD. There is no way Im a DD. Ive been wearing B or C for as long I can remember. I questioned this, but she said thats the size I am. I tried on the 38 DD bras she brought out. ALL of them were uncomfortably tight in the ribcage. I would have much preferred a 40, but the salesperson said I"d get used to it. I didnt want to have to get used to it. I wanted a bra that was comfortable. So I tried on all the bras and had a lovely red mark around my ribcage from twisting the bra around when I clasped it. The DD wasnt right either. All the bras were gaping and I was swimming in the cups. The saleslady didnt seem at all interested in finding me a new size. After 12 bras, I just gave up. Their bras are expensive and I couldnt see me looking forward to wearing them. So I went to Soma and had them fit me. I was fitted for a 40 C and bought 4 bras from them. They fit wonderfully! It seems from the other reviews that the salespeople are really stubborn in the way they fit a person and dont listen to any suggestions from the customer. If they keep this up, they will be out of the bra business soon. Disappointed and wont be back.

So after countless failed attempts at Vickies, I finally searched around and heard of Contours Lingerie, located on Mineral Point road. I wasnt expecting anything amazing, as Id been discouraged time and time again by really lame bras. Contours was different. The two ladies working were the best and most honest people Ive ever met. They carried a ton of sizes (whoo, 28G here!) and a huge selection in those sizes. Im unsure of how it works other places, but the manager personally takes you to a fitting room, finds a single size that fits you perfectly with stock bras (after measuring of course) and then brings an entire arm full of different types of bras for you to try. The manager was able to find out all the issues in the bras I had been wearing (my underwire was too narrow, which caused painful boobage, and other such instances), and find the perfect type of bra for my boobs. It rocked. Both ladies were supportive and helpful the entire time, honest if something didnt fit right, and bubbling when it did. They were both great, and Ill definitely be going back when I need a strapless bra around prom time. I personally came home with three different bras, including some Panache ones. So thats about all as I dont want to take up too much of your day. Seriously though, they made a loyal customer out of me today.
