Rude, Snobby, Self indulged, with a better than you attitude is what I found with the people working "AND" shopping there! Prices for products were outrages compared to local super market prices, mostly $1.00 higher then what I find at Windco, Freds, or Safeway (seriously....$15.00 for a pound of Bees Wax, when it can be found locally on Craigslist for $8.00 a pound). They surely dont hold to the true tradition of the Co-Op mentality, but I guess you have to pay for that high priced store front property some how! They only Pro to the store that I truly found was that it was clean. Ill have no need to go back and shop at this store, since I can find everything they had at the local stores near me, saving a 20 min. drive.

Love the market. Deli has an outstanding variety of salads and entree items to eat in or take out. I eat lunch there quite often. 2 great soups every day. The markets produce dept is very fresh and whenever possible, purchased from local farmers. Organic and GMO free. A largely expanded bulk department allows me the options of buying just the amount I need of something. Staff goes out of their way to buy as many products from vendors that support the mission of the market. Parking can be a problem but I find that if a wait a minute, typically someone comes out and a spot opens up. Support local!!!!

I gave this place 3 chances to get it right and they just couldnt seem to pull it off. The produce on all occasions was HORRIBLE! The customer service was no better. This is the closest store of its kind to my house but I will gladly travel farther for much, much better. Update:1/27/2015 The quality of the produce has increased considerably, they have amazing sprouted grain tortillas and a very diverse selection of fair trade organic chocolate and cruelty free health care products. Some of which are locally made! Their bulk selection alone is worth the trip. Customer service has also vastly improved!

Horrible customer service. I was going in there about three times a week, and not once did I ever receive decent customer service! I was constantly over charged for items when I purchased things at the deli counter, and you can find everything there at Huckleberries for less! Huckleberries has far superior produce and bulk as well. The convience of going there is not worth it! I will not go back in again.

Great selection, helpful and friendly staff. I get all my coffee and eggs here. Prices on some things are little high but the groceries and deli are mostly top-notch stuff. However, you can buy tall boys of PBR here, for example. Every other time I come in theres a disoriented out-of-towner expressing their disbelief that Spokane hosts such a place.

I first found this place after we went to Bloomsday and I wanted a salad before the trip back home and this place had the best salad bar! You make it in the box and then you bring it over to weigh it. They have a very wide variety of add-ins and is like a whole foods 2.0! There are a lot of vegan and allergy friendly options in the store!

welcome to tree hugger lefty liberal land...Funny thing is that the service is less than adequate and the prices are truly absurd. Overpriced with a produce dept that is in my opinion "not good" management is not friendly, they seem to have different employees every time i am in the store. I do not want my grocer telling me how to vote

Love this place! Great selection of local wares, like soaps and cleaning products, along with a tasty deli selection and the best deals on organic produce! Much more affordable than other Spokane natural markets, though parking lot is small. Plenty of parking along the street though, so Ive never had a problem with it.

Love this place! Salad bar is so yummy! Super Fresh and healthy, with fun new offerings every time I go. Deli is incredible. Staff so friendly. Reasonably priced. Lots of great sales and clearance items throughout the store. Even the water tastes better here! I love the outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

Everything is good here! A mix of customers with different ideologies and backgrounds makes for an interesting experience. I like the musicians playing outside and it feels like its bringing culture forward. I like how this place is a natural crackhead repeller, crackheads arent interested in organic food

Great peanut butter! Im so glad to have this co-op in Spokane. The bulk section is pretty awesome, as well as the selection (and prices) of organic vegetables. The salad bar always has good choices as well. The employee / owners are friendly and helpful as well. Definitely worth a stop!

Very disappointing. We visited the day before to see if they could prepare sandwiches for our journey the next day. We were assured they would be able to do so from 8 am onwards. We went in at around 9.30 and was told by a very surly assistant he would not. Poor customer service.

A blonde lady that checked me out was very snooty, they should fire her, shes the reaso, I gave 2 stars. The old lady with long white hair is amazing though. They need more vegan options at the deli, but tasty, yall should just hire me Ill make this place the place to shop!

Great local organic produce. Mellow, helpful staff. Lots of deli selection with a great salad bar. Locally sourced grass fed, wild caught and pastured meats, eggs and dairy. Big variety of bulk foods, herbs, etc. Convenient downtown location on an interesting block. Sweet!

We are pleased to have a community partner like Main Market Co-op serving our draft beer in growlers to-go. The people are the Main Market are committed to providing locally sourced, high quality products and are a pleasure to work with in every aspect of the operation.

Reminds me a LOT of the Madison Market on Capitol Hill in Seattle. The store is small, but good. Fantastic micro-brew selection along with lots of healthy options. Prices are way higher than it seems they should be which is why i gave 3 stars.

Love, love, LOVE this place. The deli is phenomenal, the staff is wonderful, and the produce and food selection is fresh and delicious. Its a great "nature" foods store with organic and local selections. Bonus: Its extremely affordable!

As a Portland native (well, almost) I thought we had the best organic grocery stores. Nope! Main Market blows PDX outta the water with its wide selection of brands within its modestly sized building. The employees were awesome too.

The Main Market has great local produce, meat (try the yak), eggs, milk, bread, and more. This little market also has a good deli. And the best chickpea selection Ive found (also local--look for green chickpeas in the freezer).

A merely okay natural foods store. A good range of spices and teas, but not so great otherwise, although Spokane doesnt offer much better. Prices are high, selection is limited and staff seem indifferent.

Deli and bakery are delicious (get the soft pretzels!!). $3 dinners on Thursday are what I look forward to all week. Beer selection is great too! Groceries in general are pricey but this isnt Walmart.

So happy to have such a great choice for local sustainable food in downtown Spokane. Love that I can ask any of the employees about the products and get knowledgeable answers.
