Dear Bartell Management, You have serious problems in your pharmacy that need to be addressed. Yes, we do all see your outrageous volume trophy behind the desk, but that is no excuse for the mishandling of peoples prescriptions which their health and livelihoods rely on. Ive given your location three chances over two years due to the proximity of my work and not once have I been able to fill my medications accurately. I submit them online two or three days in advance and come in to find them not ready. I didnt receive any phone call nor email notifying me of the delay. When I came back two days later (being told theyd be ready the next day) they still were not ready. I appreciate the pharmacist securing it at another location, but she didnt ask me if that was acceptable beforehand, and it wasnt, because I was on my lunch break and the pharmacy she sent it to was 20 minutes out of my way, not including rush hour traffic. These are only my most recent issues, but I recall swearing off this location previously for something similar. Ive moved now and there is not a Bartell conveniently located near my home, so you will probably be losing my business. I have never had a single problem at any of your other locations and I will gladly leave reviews saying as much. It isnt my style to complain, but Ive never been so taken aback at having such a crucial aspect of my life carelessly treated. I urge you to escalate the issues in your department as soon as possible. Thank you for reviewing my feedback.

The staff in the storefront are pretty friendly and standard. Never had any issues with them. My worst and best service experiences have both come from their pharmacy. There was an honest and small mix-up made by one of the techs filling my medications that resulted in some big and irreversible issues with additional charges to my FSA account. Despite the magnitude of the situation, John from management, and Sofiya, the head pharmacist, calmly and politely made everything work out after pulling a few strings. Id hire either of them in a heartbeat, and both seem to be quite adept in their respective professions. I came in wanting to strangle someone in frustration (not literally, of course), and left happy and satisfied. Their exceptional recovery from an unfortunate and unintentional blunder would have earned 5 stars, but I have to ding them a star because there seems to be one shift that is a little bit slower at filling scripts that the others. If the staff look busy, frantic, and into their work, get your meds filled here. If they look lazy and disinterested, Id wait until another day - the ones that look like theyre doing less always take longer than their estimates on my scripts. Thats not just placebo effect - Im a frequent flyer here, and I time my visits occasionally. Thankfully, theyre not usually slow, and if theres ever another mistake with my prescriptions, I know that itll be dealt with fairly and quickly.

Hub came here to fill a small prescription at 9:45pm, was told that hed have to come back tomorrow to pick it up. I called to inquire the reason, (understandable if they dont have it on hand), but was told by the staff on phone that they close at 10pm. There was no line, and we dropped off the prescription at 9:45pm, why cant the pills be counted by 10pm? (15-20 min is a normal amount of wait time I usually expect at a local pharmacy). I proceeded to tell her that the only reason we went there tonight is so we can have it, otherwise Id have waited a day and taken the prescription to my usual drug store pharmacy. Guess they must be floating in RX money that they dont care! (Id think the pharmacy usually go above and beyond to win your business in this heavily competitive world of retail pharmacy)

I cant really speak to the other experiences that other reviewers have had, but I personally like this place. The people there are always super nice to me, and helpful if I ask for it. The pharmacy can sometimes get bogged down by the massive amount of people all trying to pick up at the same time, but it looks like they are always working hard back there at least. No one is farting around in the back or anything. I mean they can only do what time allows right? In any case, they are remodeling it looks like, so maybe some extra windows and stuff will help things smooth out for these other reviewers. Who knows. Some people are impossible to please when they feel slighted by some unintentional action or inaction. Everyone has bad days.

Tried to have prescriptions transferred from out of state Costco by bringing medicine vials.2 hours later phone call asking me for patient name, attendant wrote prescribing doctor instead and asking me for pharmacy number. When I replied it was on the vial, perhaps it is easier if I go to Costco, attendant replies: "sure then I dont have to do this".... With this kind of service it is surprising anybody would trust this pharmacy.

0 for 2, I will no longer be having my prescriptions filled here. This is the second time Ive called in a prescription over four hours in advance and still had to wait when I came in to pick it up. This is on top if the difficulties Ive had getting them to even recognize the prescription had been called in. Too stressful!

Came into the store around late evening on a weekday and the older Spanish male worker was insufferable and useless. I had to go to the lady at the checkout register for assistance and she was nice, though. Didnt get what u came for. I went to another store, instead.

Getting a prescription medicine here is annoyingly slow and everything takes too long, not to mention the amount of times the staff needs to ask you the same things over and over. Such a waste of time. Irritating at best.

Great neighbourhood drugstore. Love the deals they have. Staff are very friendly. Only flip side is that the pharmacy is so busy that theres almost always a wait time.
