My cousin and I just had a horrible experience at The Heron Inn in La Conner Washington. I booked for a Sunday night the 27th of Sept. and when we arrived late at night in the dark pouring rain we found only a phone so we called George the owner who preceded to tell us that we made the mistake and our reservation was for the Friday night not Sunday. He then told us he had charged my visa for the stay anyway. I was furious and upset so we were both yelling back & forth my cousin could here him yelling at me to calm down but we were so tired, standing in the rain yet he did nothing to help us, he didnt offer to find us another place to stay or anything. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. When we finally found a hotel room for $40 more we checked our email and sure enough he was wrong and I had an email from him confirming the 27th, Sunday. He didnt even check while we were on the phone to see if he made an error just yelled and turned us away. It may be a nice place but Ive never met anyone so rude as George. Hes selling the place so hopefully the next owner will understand what the "hospitality" business is all about. We asked him how we would ammend the mistake he made when we sent him the correct confirmation email for the 27th and he said because I was so rude that he would do nothing. It was finished is what he said. I dont know about you but most people would be understandably upset standing in the cold rain being turned away so rudely. We thought if he at least cared about his customers and because it was his mistake that he would at least have offered to pay for our other hotel, instead nothing so we want to tell everyone and pass it on that if you book ahead there you like us you may be left out in the cold on a dark rainy night after being yelled at. Id recommend Katys Inn or the Wild Iris both are lovely and great "customer service".

I use them for all my prescription needs. They beat the prices of the big box stores like Walgreens and Rite Aid by a huge margin on my prescriptions. They are very pleasant and accommodating to your needs. Most times its never more than a few minutes wait............

Staff here turned my three-year-old away from using the bathroom. If this is any indication of their hospitality and customer service, it is no wonder why this business is dying.
