Im glad I didnt purchase my new mustang from here, but instead at a different dealer. I had the rudest encounter ever from a sales person in my life (and that too while making the most expensive purchase of my life...minus college). I wanted my mustang in black, and wasnt too excited that they wanted to drive it down here from a different state. I wanted to discuss other options for that, but instead, their sales person tried to make me feel stupid for how I felt, refused to acknowledge my concern, literally accused me of profiling his employees, and got into an all out argument with me. Not to mention, as I paused and started to say another sentence, this guy hung up on me. I was so appalled by the fact that I havent had to raise my voice with anyone in my personal life for years, and here, a sales associate trying to sell me a car is doing this. When I first dealt with him in the dealership about pricing, before we even spoke about where the car would come from, he felt the need to keep repeating my points of negotiation in a belittling manner, too, Ill note. Right after the argument I had with this sales rep, I called the dealership and spoke to a used car sales manager, and he seemed to be understanding and told me hed talk to the guys manager and see what they could do (even though at this point I was completely done with Ted Britt). He never called me back. I then wrote an email to this used car sales manager and the manager of the rude sales rep (a new car sales manager -- wasnt very pleasant himself), explaining my experience and telling them I wouldnt be purchasing from them. I never heard back from that either. I think thats what bothered me most, the fact that even the management couldnt act responsibly or apologize for their employees behavior. I got my car at another dealership and it worked out because it was even cheaper there.

First time dealing with Ted Britt, but off of the recommendation of a friend I decided to give it a shot. It wasnt a normal car purchase since my parents were coming from NY to buy a car here so I wasnt sure how it was going to go and if they were going to keep pressuring me to set an appointment to come in. I sent a request in and worked with Alicia to get some initial pricing and a rough idea of what the payment would be based on the packages and equipment they were looking for. When my parents got here we set the appointment and we went to meet Mitch who Alicia had handed me off to. I was worried about working with someone new in the middle of the process but it actually turned out really well. Mitch picked up right where Alicia left off. We agreed on a vehicle with a price BELOW what we were expecting and started the paper work for finance all in about an hour. They had to get the Escape from another dealer and said it could be early the next week since it was Memorial Day weekend (I know I am late reviewing) and it was Thursday when we went. But on Friday Mitch called and said it would be ready to pick up on Saturday. Another hour and a half from when we walked in to when my parents left in their new Escape. Overall I could not be happier with how well the entire experience went. If you are looking for a Ford in the Fairfax area go see Mitch at Ted Britt.

It appears as if their service department is completely new. The new Service Manager Russell did an amazing job actually listening to me about the issue with my clutch. He personally test-drove my car to confirm that it was DOA and needed replacement, and confirmed it was covered under my Ford ESP. I got my car back in a few days, with a clutch that was just like it was when the car was brand-new. The last time I visited this service department with this clutch issue, they just said "Thats how they are" and did nothing to address the situation. They just blew me off as if I was complaining about nothing. It was a breath of fresh air to have someone listen to me, test drive to confirm the issue, and get it remedied in a timely manner. I also HIGHLY recommend purchasing Fords ESPs, as they have saved me thousands on my last two Mustangs. Kudos to Russell and his service department, and Fords ESP. Absolutely worth every dime.

Don’t buy a car in Ted Britt. I bought a used car Chevy two years ago and it was fine so far, but we wanted to buy a new one today and after 6 hours spending our time, I was not able to buy a new Ford Explorer because my SSN is valid for work only. So I am not qualified for the 0% financing program in 4 years they announce in their webpage. If they discriminate people who have just bought a house 15 times higher than the price of a Ford Explorer, they don’t deserve my respect and they will lose customers, deceiving and making fraudulent publicity. When I was told by the Finance Manager that my application was declined and we were upset about it, he told us that Ted Britt will pay the difference between the 0% I was offered and the cost for the 4 years finance program which finally end was not true, another one hour and half lost additional to the time we spent there. Don’t believe in the ads they make. Regards.

I cant thank the crew at Ted Britt Fairfax enough; all of you are pros! Since I only have limited space I would like to Personally thank Evelyn, Andy, Allison, Brian, Naz, and Sonny. You all are excellent people with a customer first attitude that made my car buying experience first class. Thank you for all of your time and patience and for getting me into a great truck at an even better price! P.S. If you are reading this and are thinking of buying or selling pre-owned; see the pre-owned manager, Brian Forster and thank me later. This guy is the best in the business and will make sure you are happy in the end. Sincerely, Peyton

Awful experience here. We purchased a used vehicle from them and as soon as we drove it home the check engine light came on, so we gave them a call to figure out the issue. The kept sending our calls in circles the sales guy who helped us never returned our calls, the manager I spoke with was no help. After over a week of the run around, we ended up fixing it on our own rather than having the headache of any further communication with them. I would not recommend this facility for a vehicle purchase of any kind if this is how they conduct business.

Terrible service department. Brought car in for a battery check (I was told by a mechanic that the CCAs were measuring low) while the car was under warranty. Tedd Britt service said the battery was fine and a month later, battery is completely dead and the car is no longer under warranty. Not covered by Tedd Britt for life and nothing they can do, or want to do, to replace battery. Would never buy another car here again!! Process of buying was bad enough but then to not receive any customer service really sucks. Guaranteed disappointment.
