Maybe the only large Asian supermarket in the Nashville area outside the other KS on Nolensville Pike (which used to smell quite funky, not sure if it still does). If you cook any type of asian food, youll probably end up here to grab some ingredients. The prices for non-perishables are okay by Nashville standards, but if you are from s. california, you might consider them high (they do have a monopoly on certain ingredients). Vegetables and meat are generally low compared to Krogers, but because of the low turn-around, some products may be on the shelf longer than they really should be. Overall, its a good supplement to buying groceries at Costco so that youll never have to step into a Krogers or Publix.

Its always got a bit of a smell, since its housed in an age-old Kroger building, and they have an extensive live fish section in the back. You can get stuff here that isnt available anywhere else in Nashville in the meat, seafood, produce, sauce, and dry goods sections. In one stop you can buy live crab, a whole octopus, plantains, duck feet, a case of young coconuts, quail eggs, a gallon of sriracha, 20 different types of loose herbs, and a durian fruit.

This is the only Asian market we could find on the Nashville area. If always smells strongly of fish. It will hit you as soon as you walk in the store. Theres always boxes of freight being stocked left in aisles so its sometimes hard to walk through. Things arent priced very clearly and they dont do a fantastic job of rotating out bad produce. They do have a great selection of noodles, aisles of them in fact. Its a large store and its not very clean.

I usually come here just for vegetables and sometimes fruit but they have a good variety of stuff. The place is smelly, hot and not the cleanest. Last time I went to the frozen section looking for yuca and found some green moldy and nasty looking thing in a bag, that must have been there unnoticed for weeks or even months...!. Fast forward a week later and yes you guessed it, it was still there...

This is one of the best Asain markets that I know of for Tennessee. I go for Filipino food they have the banana ketchup thats hard to find they have the jack n Jill brand for filpino chips and lucky me noodles. You can also find just about every part of the animal you want here. I also found a Brazilian soda I havent found anywhere else here guarana. They have filpino ice cream.

This is my favorite world market. The variety of food is amazing and reasonably priced. They also have cookware and tea sets. The variety of produce is impressive and of great quality. My children get super stoked when we make a shopping trip. The sweets are wonderful as well. I really recommend this market whether you are making something from scratch or want a quick meal.

Great place to find food items, especially Asian, that you will not find in any American supermarket. Prices are a bit high, but its all imported so thats to be expected I guess. Labels have minimal english, so often its hard to determine whats inside. The meat counter, though it can be a bit rank at times, has cool items at good prices.

K&S Market is a large grocery store specializing in primarily Asian based groceries. The store has a wide variety of vegetables, such as bak choy, that you wont find in your typical North American grocery store. There is also a large selection of instant noodles, plus lots of frozen items such as steamed pork buns and custard buns.

The name is a bit deceiving. The place has a lot of things, no doubt, but most of them are Asian or Mexican. There are very little foods from Russia, and none from Germany. Still, the place has a large variety of Asian foods and plenty of other things to find including fresh fish. Its just not exactly a "World Market", per se.

This store is awesome. There are so many different types of food at a really good price. I would recommend checking out the drinks in the left part of the store. Grass Jelly Drink, Aloe Vera Pulp Juice, Wax Gourd, Basil Seed Juice. Not that these taste very good, but they are really fun to pass around a let people try them.

This is a great market. I get my rice, kimchi, veggies, ramen, and various asian treats here. The management has improved and the place has definitely gotten better about rotating stock and offering things you cant find at places like kroger or publix. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.

A nice and large international market, with a very large variety of Asian food products and a reasonable variety of other ethnicity foods. The diversity of the produce section is great, but the quality is a bit variable. All in all, in it will definitely be your base supplier when cooking Asian food.

I would buy all my groceries here if I knew how to cook it all! Signs above the aisles are wrong, but just go after a big lunch and wander around. The Hispanic foods help me to make Peruvian food I miss so much. I also love the bowls and the glass storage containers that Ive bought from there.

If you dont mind the dinginess, this is a great place for not just for Asian food. They sell lots of produce for really cheap. The shelves arent labeled well, so if you dont know exactly what the item youre looking for looks like, be prepared to spend a lot of time searching.

This place smells like most international markets Ive been in, and thats not great. However, I love to come here and pick up things that I cant find anywhere else. Also, the produce prices are usually really good, but you may have to pick through it more than at some stores.

Nice market, very large selection and great prices. It smells fishy, but dont let that scare you, there are just live fish tanks at the back of the store. If there is an ingredient you need to make a meal from Chinese to Mexican to Indian, you will find it here!

Great place to go if your looking for something not carried in the local grocery store. Wide selection of teas, fruit, spices, meat (including fish) and condiments. Great place to go if you want to expand you palate or browsing for culinary ideas.

Has more Asian options than the K&S on Nolensville. Always looks a little grungy, and the fish section has a strong stench. Good selection of harder to find foods. They like to take political stands, which is just a bad idea for a grocery store.

Nice atmosphere, interesting merchandise and foods that you cant find at other stores. Interesting toys, furniture, candy, chocolate, food, beverages, wines & spirits, and more. I like to browse sometimes and try something new.

A wonderful international grocery store with everything you may need thats hard to get at other places. The prices are great, too. However, they dont pre-sift their produce, so youll need to do some digging to find the good stuff.

This is a good place to grab some ingredients you cant get from the supermarket, and they honestly have really great deals on produce. Buy the spices with caution. I found a metal washer in my bag of cardamom.

This place has gone downhill and its sad. I noticed a pervasive bad smell throughout the store and many packaged products on the shelves were far beyond their expiration date - - some by as much as a year.
