I have been here a couple of times and havent had very positive experiences. They have a good selection of quality products but the person working there that helped me both times was very smug and condescending. I could tell he was very knowledgeable but he treated me like I didnt know anything. When I was asking him questions about some products he asked me what kind of bike I had. I told him the make and model and he smugly said "I dont even know what that is." I dont expect him to know every make and model of bike but instead of trying to belittle me he could have asked some additional questions like what type of bike it was. Its not like I was referencing some dime-store bike either. It was a $1,500 dollar bike from an established manufacturer. He wasnt overtly rude but just enough to let me know that his knowledge of bikes was superior to mine and that I wasnt really a valued customer. Maybe the other salespeople there are better but I dont think Ill be going back here. The person running the cash register was quite nice but my interaction with him was very brief. If only he was the person that helped me with my questions. The store itself is very nice and they carry some great brands and a very wide selection of bikes.

I bought my first bike from them and not having done much research, I didnt know how important proper sizing is for ride quality and about the subcategories there are within road cycling. The person who helped me find the bike (Jeremy) ended up selling me a bike that, I later learned, it was way too small for me (maybe because it had a discount and he just wanted to get rid of it). A couple of years later when I was looking for a new bike, I went to another one of their stores (because they were the only ones who had the bike I wanted in my size) and I didnt buy the bike because they would not give me a discount for a previous year model when every other bike shop in town does and even before they knew I was looking for a discount, they were not very helpful in helping me find the right bike. I bought my bike somewhere else and I will definitely not return to them in the future, with so many good options around.

Every time Ive been in there, its been an A+ experience. Sam back in the repair shop has been IMMENSELY helpful to me during the process of picking out and ordering components for my from-scratch road bike build. Additionally, hes treated me with kindness, respect, and sincerity and didnt leave me feeling like an idiot novice. We talked a few times on the phone to make sure that I was getting the right components, and even verified the final order before moving forward with the parts order. I felt that I was being clearly communicated with all throughout the process. So huge props to him. All the front staff have also been super friendly and helpful, too. Their "take off" box of saddles was a GREAT deal — used saddles taken off disassembled bikes and resold for REALLY tremendous prices. Im pretty sure I landed a used $200+ seat for $20. Great place, I highly recommend it.

The staff at this store are knowledgeable and friendly. I went to the store one time and as I was checking out, the guy said they were running a sale on the weekend and he would give me the discount then (it was a Thursday). On another occasion I brought my wheel in because it had a broken spoke. After they fixed my spoke I found out the wheel was wearing thin and was not reliable. I told them of an upcoming tour and I opted for a tune up. One of the mechanics stopped me with my receipt for fixing the spoke and they said they would wave the fee since I was getting a tune up. I definitely trust their judgement since I was trying to fix some of the issues on my used bike. I have definitely found my neighborhood bike shop.

I feel like Im barely welcome because I dont need a pro-fitting on a $3k carbon fiber bike. A yuppy bike store to be sure. Edit to add: Went in again despite my better judgement. Once again, condescended to. Once again, outrageous estimate for service. Despite repeatedly giving them chances, Im consistently put off by what this place stands for. You yuppy losers can drop gs upon gs here so you can shred singletrack when youre not in your yuppy office. Have fun. Im never going here again. Changing my rating from 3 to 1 stars. Id have no qualms about this place going out business but the yuppys will like keep letting themselves get taken. STAY AWAY! AVOID!

I am a totally naive (and new) bike rider. I came in looking for a bike accessory. I was told that what I wanted didnt exist and would not work. I was shown a product that didnt really do what I wanted and was so much more than I wanted to spend. But again, I trusted that they were experts. Later that day, I went home and found that the exact product I wanted existed, worked well, and was about half of what I spent at the store. I would have really really appreciated just being told that they didnt have the product, but that it was available. I give the store 3 stars because they were friendly.

Ive purchased all of my bikes from this shop. I just recently purchased a new HED racing wheelset (which are incredible) and the customer service and knowledge of the workers is second to none. I recommend the shop to all of my buddies who are looking for a bike shop. I also had my bike tuned up and worked a lot with Sam and I want to say that he and the other guys in the back are incredible at what they do. I highly recommend checking this place out if you havent been.

Came all the way from South Minneapolis because we had a helpful email exchange with the owner. We came in to try a couple of bikes and came home with both of them! Excellent, personalized customer service from everybody there. They acted like they had all the time in the world and showed us infinite patience. The employees were smart, creative (on a couple of adaptations) and extremely pleasant to work with. Very good price on our bikes. Id give more stars if I could!

Excellent customer service, great people. Products that Ive not seen in any other bike shop in town, with great prices. Bought a bike "trunk" bag that was inexpensive, great quality, and made by a local company. If youre looking for bags, dont buy one before you stop here. The best staff Ive seen in a Twin Cities bike shop. This place isnt close to my house, but I might make the trip there for the good customer service.

I shopped at several bike shops before going to NOW Fitness to buy my bike. I made my decision to buy my bike 30 minutes after I got there and had a conversation with one of the sales people. I knew that their customer service and knowledge about their products and fitting them to their buyer was better than anyplace else I had been. Their mechanics are the best too! I LOVE my new bike and the shop is great!!
