Theyre hacks and handle business terribly. I had a long detailed conversation with Kyle, explaining what I had to sell and where I would be coming from. I noticed on the website you can submit photos of what you want to sell, he advised that I take photos and bring them in to save time waiting for them to go through all the website submissions. I again explained where I would be driving from since it is 30 miles from where I live..he again advised it was best I come in. I take the photos, print them out, make the drive to have Scott sit down quickly scan the photos, ask where I live, when I tell him, he immediately says Oh I wont be able to do business with you thats too far. I was livid. I explained that Kyle advised me to come in after I asked him about submitting photos through the website he nonchalantly said not enough furniture for the distance.. How the hell would I know there are stipulations for them purchasing furniture since theres nothing on their website that would indicate that. Dont let the idiot Kyle answer the phone if hes doesnt know what to tell the callers. A big waste of my time and gas! Terrible business and awful customer service. I would never go back or refer anyone.

The boy that came to my house to look at my furniture and appliances didnt seem to know what he was doing at all. As a matter fact he called me and 1030 in the morning let me know he was running a little late. He was supposed to show up between 10 and 12, but he didnt show up until around 2 oclock. He did call me and let me know; however that doesnt excuse the fact that he was anywhere from 2 to 4 hours late! When he got here he proceeded to tell me that he would not give me an itemized bid on the pieces individually that he would give me an offer on everything total. After I got him to give me a breakdown on the items individually his offer still came in $500 less than what he told me he would give me. Apparently he has a huge problem with math and clocks. To make matters worse, the woman who answers the phones there isnt very bright either... I wish google would give the option for giving 0 stars or at least a half star!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM VERY POOR Customer Service. We bought 1500$ furniture with a good customer service a few months ago. We kept them very good. Now when we try to sell same stuff we bought from them, WHAT A PAIN. First, they try to delay your appointment as late as possible when they found out we are moving state very soon. Second, they sent a Scott (they told me they will send a guy Kevin) This Scotty looked at furniture like 1-2 minute without looking at details at all. This Scott seriouly looks depressed with no smile, he does not even want to talk. Then told us they will call me to give me a price and asked us if we are available to have someone to pick furniture up. Lastly, they just called and told us they do not want to buy on my last day in Arizona. What a bunch of ID10TS! If you experienced what I had, will you still do business with them???

Like another reviewer said - they are crooks! I paid $2700. for a brand new couch last year. It was a very large couch, so I also paid for the delivery fee. My wife and I were carrying the pillows out to our car when some lady yells at us and comes running out to the parking lot. She accused us of stealing them. So we showed her our receipt and she appologized. The following day the delivery guys show up and damage the leather on the back of the couch in 2 seperate locations. I pointed this out to the delivery guys and they advised me to call the store to get it repaired. We called for months and they never fixed the couch. They also wouldnt give us any refund for the delivery or offer any other resolution to the problem. As I said, they are crooks. Once they have your money, they dont care about you! Buyer beware...

I went there looking for a bedroom set and discovered all of these other bargains! They had a plenty of patio furniture with some vintage sets mixed in. The prices were very reasonable compared to some of the antique malls around town. I was surprised by the accessories section too. I purchased a huge vintage art glass bowl for only $7.00. I even got some pyrex and fire king cookware that was priced pretty low. I also bought a 6x9 area rug that was only $10.00. Its not 100% wool but was like new and also the pattern I had been searching for. Havent found a bedroom set yet, but I will definitely go back to J&K to see what they get in!

Extremely pathetic customer care. The front desk lady requested pictures of furniture pieces and assured someone will get in touch to give an estimate for those items. After trying to upload pictures for three days, I received a one line response "sorry cannot help you at this time". I replied explaining that I was only requesting an estimate based on someones expert knowledge. Another reply came back saying "sorry but cannot help you at this time".. The least they could have done is explained the second time why no one in the company could help when that is their only business.

Extremely disappointed. What can I say? I was waiting for my furniture to be delivered. Instead, they sold it to someone else. One piece did arrive, the generic loveseat which seemed to be minimally discounted, but not the unique chair I was really looking forward to. 3 hour delivery window turned into 3-and-a-half hours, fans blow hot air around in the store, and theres a lot of lower-end furniture marginally reduced from what you *might* spend elsewhere.

One of Phoenixs best for used furniture! Its always fun here and I almost always find something on my weekly treasure hunts at J&K. Ive bought large furniture as well as small accessories; good deals at good prices. Make sure to peruse all the rooms and areas; you will find unexpected treasures in unexpected places! Ive seen high end autos as well as low end trucks and vehicles all looking for the bargains! J&K will deliver if you cant haul it home yourself.

Discovered this store in the early 90s and have loved this place ever since. Inventory changes by the day, I learned that a long time ago. If you want - get it - because 2 days later it could be gone!!! As for the nimrod who commented about "dismal" customer service- heres what I say to him - This place is not "Ethan Allen customer service - its about "steals" and timing & saving $$$$. Go often as possible, to truly capture some treasures

The girl who helped me smelled of alcohol,they said they would come get my stuff and the 1 thing they didnt want another customer wanted it so then they refused to do business with me. My mom has done business with them for 13 years but after today we will never go back,I actually felt ganged up on cause I had 2 employees yelling at me. So unprofessional and Ive been working in customer service for 15 years.
