I have been interested in comic books for awhile, but for whatever reason hadnt started reading them. Ive frequented comic shops in my life, but usually I just went to play magic and hang out. When I started going to New Wave Comics something was different. Jasons (the owner) passion for comic books is infectious and within minutes of talking to him I suddenly felt compelled to start reading. He is insanely (almost unreasonably) knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have. It seemed he was more interested in matching you with a comic you would love than making a sale. Mikaela (the owner) is welcoming. She is extremely friendly and while not as knowledgeable about comics just as capable and willing to help you in whatever way she can. The shop is a little small, but has a nice sized selection and anything you dont find on the shelves can be ordered. There is also a "pull list" for people who pick up weekly issues. The shop also hosts events occasionally such as a "Batman and Brews" event in January 2014--where attendees read The Black Mirror trade and discussed it while drinking beer. The event was great and I cannot wait for the next one. All in all, New Wave Comics is a fantastic shop owned by two awesome people and anyone interested in comics should go and check it out!

This is a really great shop! Ive been buying comics for about 25 years and I think this is maybe the only store Ive been to where you end up feeling like you made a friend with the person working there as opposed to feeling like youve interrupted them. Sad to say but the latter is kind of par for the comic book store course so New Wave really stands out. The guy who owns the place has turned me into some amazing stuff after he sees what Im buying and shows me other stuff that he thinks I might like - often times its those $1 first issues and he just puts them in my bag for free. I look forward to sneaking away whenever Im in the area to stop by and grab a few comics and talk to the crew here about comics, games, tv, or baseball. Great people! One of my all time favorite comic book stores!

Awesome store with awesome and friendly staff. I have been coming here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. It is such a cool and relaxed atmosphere and they do a lot for their customers. Even if Im just browsing, the staff talks to me and makes me feel welcomed and comfortable. Since they are a newer store, they dont have tons of back issues, but what they have is quality and fairly priced. If youre just browsing, chances are you will find something you want and or need. I highly recommend this store to anyone with an interest in comics, tabletop games, card games, memorabilia, ect. New Wave Comics gets my highest recommendation. If you are ever near the beautiful Skippack Village, make sure you stop by....you wont regret it!

Stoped here for the first time today. Ive been to nearby comic shops and this one kills them all ! The selection is insane..i was in a bit of a rush today, but i know where im buying from here on out! I also agree with the previous poster the accociate was friendly not like your typical mall comic shop where they hire just anybody. I work in customer service and know it can be tough but i really felt like they appreciated my buisness. Ill def be back !!!!

I have been checking out stores in the area and this is exactly what I was looking for. Good selection and friendly owner. When I walk into a comic store I am looking for an experience more than just a person operating a register and thats exactly what I got. Got some good recommendations and general comic chatter. Even threw in some free dollar books for us to check out. Well worth the 20 minute drive and will definitely come back for more.

One of the best comic stores I have visited. The owners are super friendly and the staff is incredibly helpful. The selection is great with older titles of comic books as well as just about anything new you can ask for. And on top of that if they dont have it they will order it for you. Theres not much more you can ask for.

Absolutely awesome! Family friendly environment...The owners are personable and engaging. Great selection of comics, cards and collectibles for people of all ages. Lots of events. Knowledgeable staff. Best comic store in this part of the state.

A great for comic books, it would seem. However the MtG events are sub par when compared to the other local shops. If you are accustomed to things being run efficiently dont bother. Also, employees lacked knowledge of their products.
