I love this place because of how delicious their food is and how delicious their coffee is. I get the quiche quite often as well as their blueberry and cream cheese muffin. Both are excellent and quite inexpensive. And if you pair it with delicious coffee beverage you will be starting your day off like so many other Americans and people worldwide you will be part of the morning coffee and muffin club and this is something youll be able to share with your co-workers and loved ones

The staff, the coffee, the mood in the room is awesome! I come to black oak quite regularly since I moved to Ukiah 3 weeks ago. I am very pleased by everything about this place. Its a sort of home away from home. I am from Seattle and its to get a little seattle coffee vibe feel like back home. It reminds me of the early days of Starbucks in the Pike Place Market. All they need is live musicians on the front stoop and boom! Im home:)

I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they never seem to brew a medium roast coffee, only light or dark and theres no place to park its full of 50 year old creepy men, but they do have the best selection of gluten-free treats in Ukiah, and the staff is friendly enough, so I park 3 blocks away and walk in the rain order a half dark/half light roast (equals a medium roast) all for a delescious Gluten free treat...mmmm

Im a coffee snob. I mostly drink espresso, but mix it up every once in a while. This place has the best coffee Ive had in the last two weeks exploring wine country and the coast north of SF. It reminds me a lot of Heart Roasting in Portland. Great decor, good snacks and fantastic espresso. If you want to go to a place in which artists apply science to serving the best coffee they can, look no further.

Really great lattes and the inside is really cute. I especially like the old coffe grinders used to decorate. The pretty wooden counter tops around the room are a really nice width for a laptop and a drink without feeling crowded. The barista was friendly and seemed to know a lot about coffee and not just how to make a drink.

One of the most amazing selections I have come across on my US Tour. Been traveling the country for 5 yrs now and this is my Highest Recommendation so far. Unsure of spelling but "Darci" was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Hope to pass through again. Worth every moment of my time!!!

Coffee Connoisseurs!! You know who you are. Where Starbucks is the Mc Donalds of coffee. An 8oz Latte brewed to perfection, served in a porcelain cup, decorated with Latte Art. Then the flavor of their own roast. Rich and nutty with no acidity. Perfectly Balanced.

The coffee is tasty, however, the latte is lukewarm, its unacceptable, I observe their procedure, and found out the cup is not warm up properly before making latte, and the delay between espresso and milk froth is bit too long, thus the lukewarm latte.

This place is pretty neat inside and the service was decent. The price for coffee was a little high but I would prefer here before starbucks any day. The atmosphere and location are great. Getting in and out of the parking lot is a little tricky.

If you have problems with hipsters (and tons of them) this is not your place. If you order something, dont expect it to taste the same the next time you get it, which can be both good and bad, depending on your perception.
