I dont think my experience at this place could have been any worse. Im 8 months pregnant and my husband is in the military away on deployment. Im trying to get us moved to a new place all on my own and we had a TV and surround sound set that we needed to get rid of. I understood that it may have been a long shot bringing in these items because theyre a year or so old but I thought Id give it a try anyway. I definitely should have called first because the men working were absolutely NO HELP at all. I lugged in the big box of electronics on my own and when I got through the door and set my box on a counter to catch my grip (and my breath), the employee right inside the door rudely advised me to "take it to the back". So, I smiled and picked up my box back up to take to the back. I get there, and the man sitting behind the computer (who didnt even have the decency to greet me or even get up from behind his screen) quickly advised me that he would not take the surround sound and my TV was junk. I was told to try Oxnard because his customers were particular and wouldnt except my stuff. Then, true to form, they watched me pack up my junk and lug it back out to my car... all while 8 months pregnant. No offer to help me carry it, no common courtesy, they didnt even open the door for me!! They did however help the little boys who were buying candy out of the machine in the front.

This place, simply put, is a crappy, low-rent, hole in the wall that wouldnt know good customer service if it kicked them in the face. They low-ball you on the price and over-charge for interest if they actually do agree to loan you money on your items, which is rare. And when you walk in the store, you will see why. Its very small with very little inventory to buy from. All the owner (who is the most insensitive person in the shop) cares about is buying jewelry and guitars. If thats what you are looking to buy, by all means pay them a visit. If you plan to sell your jewelry or guitar, be prepared to be insulted on the "quality" of your product before being offered an amount that is 3 times less than what its worth. If you are looking for a good, friendly, helpful pawn shop, try Simi Pawn Shop on Tapo Street in Simi Valley. They actually care about their customers and have knowledge about what things are actually worth and seem to really want to help you out and give you as close to what you need as possible. Screw Lucky Pawn. Theyll go under and close their store within a couple years if they keep insulting their customers and ripping them off.

I pawned my over loose yellow canary almost flawless diamond there a few years ago, and when I Got it out of pawn, it was a different diamond with a crack in it, and not even yellow....... they totally ripped me off....... big time. It was my grandmothers, and it meant a lot to me and now I have this crappy diamond in its place and cant do a thing about it. Please be careful with this business. THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU!!!! For small things that have no sentiment, go ahead....... . but not anything that actually matters to you.

Today I needed to some cash to help out in a time of need, I have never visited a Pawn Shop before and was very nervous. Lucky Pawn was such a pleasurable experience for my first time and would highly recommend their services. The owner, ?Paul? if I remember correctly, was very down to earth and friendly, even making me laugh a little on what was a pretty hard day for me. So in conclusion I was very pleased and will be looking forward to any future business!

Owner is rude and disrespectful towards customers... I wouldnt do business with him even if he paid me double what my product is worth... I researched what I was taking to him and saw cheap merchandise way overpriced.. Couldnt believe his all out rudeness. DO NOT GO THETE FOR A FAIR PRICE ON ANYTHING!!!! Cant stress that enough....

Lucky Pawn is TOP NOTCH! I have purchased musical instruments over the years - guitars, flutes, percussion instruments - always a good experience. And, I have gotten some jewelry there as well, which was at a good price. I highly recommend them!

An excellent place to do business. Great prices, merchandise is always in superb condition. Dont have any experience pawning or selling items to them, but as a buyer, Ive never been disappointed.
