Kermit Lynch has been importing French wines for 40 years. I have had occasion to try a few, and have never been disappointed. The clerks at the store are very knowledgeable, and will guide you in terms of region, food pairings and price point. There are also some wines that he is involved with producing, looking forward to trying my latest purchase. If I lived near Berkeley, this would be a regular wine stop for me.

Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant is a blessing. When I walk into the store, I know two things: one, that every bottle is good; and two, that the more I pay for a bottle, the better it will be. What a concept! Sadly this is rarely the case in wine retail. I dont understand it -- KLWM shouldnt exist, but it does. If you live in the greater Bay Area, you can drink wine fit for kings every night of the week. Relish it -- it is a gift.
