I was the first to arrive here at the auto department to get an oil change and tire rotation. (since i bought my tires at a walmart i get free tire rotations - only reason i chose to come to these people). They told me it would be about an hour until they were done. Come an hour later, I returned to see the two of them SLAMMING my hood down repeatedly before one comes up and asks me if there is something wrong with my hood latch. I told them when you pull out the release the hood you will notice it stays pulled out - you have to push it back in before it will re-latch. (I have taken my car several other places and they had no trouble figuring this out). They pushed the release latch back in but by this time they had already broken it. They must have spent a whole hour of changing my oil and slamming my hood shut. I had even given them my phone number - they could have called me and asked if there were any questions. I asked if they were going to fix it but they told me they wouldnt have worked on my car if there were any "pre-existing conditions". I told them it wasnt a pre-existing condition, it worked just fine before and that this was walmart, not some back-alley shop so i figured they wouldnt have any issues. After talking to the manager he told me i could send in a claim to their "third party insurance company" and I couldnt drive my car away because it was a hazard, and if i did take it i would have to sign a form saying it was a pre-existing condition and they WOULDNT COVER IT. Then, as i was filling out the paper work, they finally rotated my tires. When they were done i noticed there were two lug-nut covers missing from my tires! They told me I originally only had 3 covers and the 3rd wouldnt fit back on! (It was BROKEN IN HALF now). Well, later they "FOUND" the fourth one, apparently it rolled under something. SO WHY DID THEY LIE AND TELL ME I ONLY HAD 3?! DID THEY THINK I DIDNT KNOW I HAD ALL 4? DID THEY NOT REMEMBER TAKING ALL 4 OFF? All in all i was car-less for 5 days to find out they wouldnt cover my hood latch, and have one less lug-nut cover. Lesson learned - DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANYTHING CAR RELATED. Slow, stupid staff and poor customer service. Not worth dealing with these people and having to pay more in the long run.

after i waited around for 3 hours at the beltline walmart while they messed around with my car, i purchased tires and had them put on my car , they informed me they didnt have the necessary tools to balance my tires and sent me to the Nakoosa trail walmart to get them balanced. after waiting on the other end of an ongoing ringing telephone for a good while to find out the automotive hours, someone in the automotive department FINALLY picked up. i was informed this process would take about 20 minutes after they get to my car. i took off work early to try and beat the after work crowd- i got there around 330. i thought my mission was successful when i pulled up and only one car was in the garage being worked on.( appeared to be an oil change or possibly new tires). there were 2 walmart employees out there working.one actively working on the car and another almost standing around talking to the other. i went in the building ( after walking past both men) and approached the automotive counter - where nobody was there to help me. eventually the actively working car man came in to help me. when i told him the issue of how the beltline store sent me to them, he informed me that it would indeed take 20 minutes, but he couldnt get to my car FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!! he wasnt remorseful or offering any sort of apology for any of the waits.i left in disgust. hopefully my tires last long enough for me to get them taken care properly by someone who values my business.

I am currently an employee of this Walmart. The only reason I am rating it a one is so people can read. While I understand the hassle of everything right now understand that if they were to close down this Walmart due to the remodel over 100 people would have been out of jobs. Also we dont get to pick the clientele that do show up to our Walmart. Just as much as other customers would want less theft and less people who are bad around we cannot fix that. We are trying our best to fit the needs of our consumers and we do ask that you please take in consideration the remodel and also that we cant control who all comes in. We are more than welcoming to all of our guests who do come in and on behalf of walmart we are sorry about any inconviences you may run into but everything should be done hopefully by the end of July and just like you customers I cannot wait for it to be done as well. Thank you for coming to your Madison East Side walmart of Nakoosa Trail and hope that you will continue.

I have been going to this particular walmart for several years. However since their update and remodel to add more square footage, the ability to find anything is nearly impossible and they have little to no selection. I went to get a couple of ice cube trays and could NOT find any. Womens foundation apparel beyond panties and Bras is virtually non existent. Before this addition there was a nice selection. Now slips and other articles are shoved on to a few hooks. Finally, this is gor all walmart stores. How many lanes are there at walmart? Yet everytime u am there there is 2, maybe three open (out of 25?) With 3 or 4 people deep, yet another lane isnt opened? The clerk manning the express lane tonight was too busy flirting with his co-worker to even ask me if I found everything I needed or even bother to tell me my total. Ridiculous.

Had my car towed here after calling ahead to make sure they had time to get it in. One flat tire and just needed a replacement. When I got there I was told it would be the next car they did. An hour and a half later they had yet to even move my car. Hadnt even looked at it. When I asked them what was going on the guy at the desk said his coworker just left him there by himself and didnt know what to do. A few moments later another guy came in and said "well we were doing other things" and proceeded to get an attitude with me. I was then asked if I wanted them to do it right now or if I wanted to take it somewhere else. Yes, I would greatly appreciate it if you would do it right now since I had it towed here... I would not recommend coming to this Walmart location for automotive services.

They need to start over. It appears nobody who works there cares about the store or the customers that shop there. Update 7/10/17. Recently remodeled and expanded to a Super Center. We went in to buy a bike for my 5 year old son. They had a huge selection when compared to Target and they were cheaper too. I was also pleasantly surprised with the help we received from both the lady working the department and the young man who was assembling the bikes for them. They were very accommodating. Overall Im not a huge fan of Walmart but with Amazon dominating the marketplace at least they have a storefront to support. Id hate to see online as the only shopping option.
