Horrible experience! Ive been a customer for years and have always thought of my go to for furniture. Today I went to buy a bed, everything was good until we got to loading our purchase. The warehouse guy Don flatly refused to help which really didnt matter to us. What mattered was the extreme attitude he used to handle the situation. We decided the best course of action wasnt to engage. So we said nothing. After shutting the door and leaving us to finish he returned to have me sign the pick up slip which had bold writing saying we persisted in tying down against his advice which did not happen. He just refused to help us. I wouldnt sign til we fully loaded. His manager approached and asked if there was a problem. I informed him of Dons attitude. He said they dont usually tie down with our type of rack despite doing it for us twice before. Manager said nothing else. When I went to hand the form back with notes indicating my experience, Don said "you can keep the pen." I said "why would I keep the pen?" He said with attitude "you put your mouth on it, I dont want it." The manager watched this whole exchange and again said NOTHING!!! I handed the form and pen to the manager and explained we would never be back. He said nothing! Ive brought friends, family and made shopping days out of the cannery. Never again. Its truly disappointing.

I have been a customer of The Old Cannery for many years, mostly because of selection and proximity to my home. I have purchased living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture. My last 3 experiences have been very negative. The salesman are way too aggressive, when I ask for them to give me time to look around they return within 5 minutes and start attempting to force you to hurry, Ive even had them do that annoyed sigh sound when they just want you to hurry. If thats not enough, my last experience just yesterday the salesman walked me to the front, and yelled at the cashier because she had to finish with the previous person so he walked us over to the only other cashier and made a comment directly to us about "they cant figure out what theyre doing up here" then felt the need to apologize for their behavior which we didnt see the problem with waiting for a few minutes to finish the other persons transaction. Right then and there with past and current experiences we decided to cancel the order and went to Harkness where we were treated as if we were family, no rushing, and very easy purchasing experience. I will no longer go to The Old Cannery where all you are is a number, mistreated, and even seems like there are issues between employees and departments. Too juvenile for me, Im over it.

I just bought a new living room set here,. Surprisingly the furniture came with legs not attached and company tells me I have to assemble it. Spent over $2,300. and these guys cant even attach the legs? While this isnt only cheezy... Im an oxygen dependent senior. Try now adding legs to two big couches!. Called customer service and got some perky miss who said "everyone" sells couches that the legs have to be added.... guess I had been dealing previously with the professional non- "everyone" companies that actually did their job with some class. Oh, and apparently they have no manager or supervisor that you can talk to. Just the single perky customer service girl is what I was told. They also dont tell you there is a delivery fee. but that one Ill take as my fault for not asking. But have to say overall......... first experience with Old Cannery- had a few more items I was going to custom order after Christmas... forget that after this pitiful example.

The good thing about this place is that they do have nice furniture and trinkets. My wife and I purchased a dining set with the side table and hutch. Delivery was extra, of course. The initial delivery was the dining table, side table, and an entertainment hutch. Obviously they delivered the wrong piece and never realized it until we called. They TRIED to charge us again for another delivery, well, we didnt have any of that. So they came out again with the correct hutch, but. . . . there was a defect, so we didnt accept it. Called them back and all this time theyve called my wife to arrange delivery. Well, they decided to call me and I asked them to call my wife to arrange delivery as I work full time. Did they call my wife? Nope. This saga is ongoing and its been over a month now and still no UNDAMAGED OR CORRECT hutch. Thought we found a great place to buy furniture. . . ah, well. One can dream.

They have great service, furniture, prices. I have purchased many different items in the past eight or nine years. I am currently replacing my hide - a - bed couch which is six year old with a new matching couch, love seat, and recliner for my larger living room in my new house but my old couch still looks and feels like new as when I first bought it from The Old Cannery Factory. The service has always been great, great selection, great quality furniture and more than reasonable prices even more so when they are on sale. I highly recommend shopping there. The atmosphere alone is worth going to the store and looking at all the displays that are for sale and displays that are not for sale, even if you do not buy anything. They have a small chocolate / fudge counter where they sell excellent fudge. All in all this is one of the best furniture stores to shop at.

I ordered a sofa and chair back in the beginning of June, and have yet to receive my order! It is now the very end of July!! I was told the order would arrive in 4-6 weeks, and we are now closing in on week 8. Each and every phone call results in the same answer, "It will be in in a few weeks." I have been living without furniture for two months now, and I am getting frustrated. I love the sofa and chair we picked out, and yes, I special ordered the chair in a different fabric carried by the manufacturer. But I was STILL told it would only take 4-6 weeks. I just want my furniture please.... If you cannot deliver in the time that you advertise, then change the advertisement. Had I known it would take 2 months or more to get my furniture, I would have gone elsewhere.

My experience goes like this buy living room furniture it needs repairs in the first year TWICE threading issues, etc. Buy a kitchen table get it home and its broke. Same trip purchased new furniture realize once we got home we had to put recliners together. Call Old Cannery have serviceman come out fix knocking problem come to find out our 1 month old furniture needs new complete mechanism. On top of it all nothing irrates me more than having a repairman come to my house and walk six times through my house without offering to take his shoes off. It;s pretty obvious by the shoes at the door WE DO! Dont go here go to reclinerland they have chairs that swivel, better customer service and so on.

Amazingly fun place. Went here for a couch and was pleasantly surprised at what I found inside. They have so much more than furniture, including Santa on the day I went. Staff was pleasant, courteous and willing to help. The furniture selection was grand and we found the perfect couch. Although we didnt get any, the fudge for sale looked amazing. The general store style feel at the counter for food was very fun, well decorated and a line out the door. The line makes me assume the food is yummy, oh free coffee so you can shop till you drop. Overall fun experience and will be heading back for furniture and fudge in the future.
