I took my son to get a consult on his first tatoo and they were very short with answers and dismissive. When we made the appointment for the consultation they seemed very nice and told us that the artist would sit down and discuss the tatoo, draw something up then make the appointment for the real thing. We get there 10 min early and they send us away for starters then when we finally get to talk to the artist we really got the idea he did not want to be bothered. He did not offer to sit down and brainstorm instead he just said send me the pic in a email and "I will draw something up then you can come back to see if you like it". Something we could have done over the phone. It was just a poor way to handle business.

Out of all honesty this shop isnt that bad. They will do alright tattoos and when I say alright dont expect to be getting something you see on tv. These people tattoo in a raw style. They dont know the meaning of gentle and really do not give a care in the world of what YOU want they are not into it unless it fits them. Unless you are in the sons of anarchy dont even bother going here. The staff is rude from the receptionist at the desk to the artist in the back. I could tell none of them wanted to be there which is a recip for disgusting work on your body. Let alone they over charged me by about 60 dollars. This place didnt only make me not want to go back it made me not even want to get another tattoo.

Got my first tattoo done here with Bald Bill. He was incredibly easy to work with, and obviously knows his stuff. Total master of tattooing (hes been doing it for over 35 years). Gave me a fair price that was less than the hourly rate wouldve caused me to pay, since it took much longer than he expected. Very friendly environment the entire time, from drawing consultation to the final results. I recommend this shop to anyone in the Burlington area, Bald Bill is a hidden talent up here in Vermont. Very clean, set up my machine right in front of me, and took care the entire time. I will most certainly be back for more work in the future. Go here!

Such a great tattoo shop! The staff was able to squeeze in my partner and I on the weekend and were so appreciative that they did. Bill and Eric did such great work - Eric did a really detailed tattoo for me that I am so happy with. Bill was such a kind soul and worked hard to make sure my partner could get his tattoo, he even stayed late for us. Bill has so many great stories and it was a joy talking to him. Bill even helped recommend places for dinner since he could tell we were both getting hungry and didnt know the area. I would 100% go back here for a tattoo anytime Im in Vermont. :)

Got my third piece finished up yesterday. Bald Bill did a first-rate job on a tribute piece to my dog, was very, very generous with his time (almost an hour of free work) and he absolutely nailed the portrait. In almost 4 hours of sitting over two sessions, I had every opportunity to see the shop in action. The staff is friendly to all the customers walking in, no tough-guy bullshit, and the artists are clearly talented. The tatt Bill did is amazing, and one I will treasure until the day I die. Much love to Yankee.

This place is amazing!!!!!! First off, Nick who does piercing is a top notch professional. He gives great description and options. He is really kind. And his work was amazing. I recommend going to him. He is there most weekdays. Then I went to Eric for a tattoo. He does amazing work. He really does a lot of research and asks a lot of questions of what you want. He takes great pride in his work. Im so pleased with my tattoo. And he still has more to finish up. Cant wait!!!!

I found the staff cold. And not really into my tattoo as I would have liked. I got a arm band done. One all the way around my arm. Just under my chinese symbol of dream. My friend and I had found a design I liked and altered it to suit me. And brought it to have put on. The girl that did me. She seemed to be in a different head space then being there. I dont think I will be going back there because of it.

People who want to get pierced, see NATE. I felt the piercing area was very clean and sterile. Nate was great with explaining the process, aftercare and things to watch out for. The piercing went flawlessly! I am a complete wimp when it comes to pain/ needles and he did an excellent job making me laugh! Also the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend Yankee Tattoo.

Ive gotten 2 tattoos at Yankee, the first was a pleasant experience, and the staff were professional and helpful. The my second tattoo was an awesome experience. The guy who did my tattoo was really excited about my design and super friendly. I would without a doubt recommend this place!

Their work is beautiful and Ive never seen such patient artists. They make sure you are absolutely happy with size, placement, etc. before they begin. Everything is very clean and professional.
