A chill place with good seating, stable wi-fi, a local-friendly atmosphere, and unexpectedly good coffee from a local roaster up in Logan, UT. I liked the wood flooring, cozy seating, and "I Heart Ogden" buttons. Little bits and trinkets and nick nacks are for sale if youre into that. I really was surprised by the quality of the coffee. Ive had a tough go at finding truly unique and tasty brew ever since moving from Chicago. GFC is better than SBucks, but it just doesnt have that artisan flair I got spoiled on in Chicagoland. So I was quite surprised by the "Highlander Grog." Im looking forward to trying some of the other brews. I enjoyed the very unique outdoor seating. Apparently, Kaffe Mercantile is just someones house that was revamped into a coffee shop, so the "back yard" has tables and chairs all over the place like youre hanging out over at someones house. Id like to see how it looks during the busy season. Unfortunately KM closes a tad early for my tastes, 7 most days and 6 others, since I like to work at coffee shops. But if youre just popping by for a little while or meeting up with your hunny, youll probably enjoy it a whole lot.

Great coffee made with a ray of sunshine to brighten your day! Kaffe Mercantile’s mission is “To provide organic and fair trade coffee to our community and to help educate our customers to the high quality and positive social affects that result from organic and fair trade products.” Their coffee is roasted from a company called Taylor Maid Farms, located in a small town in northern California. Kaffe has an awesome patio with running water features, take a book and read for a bit while you enjoy your coffee. Go in the morning and tell Erika we sent you - be sure to try one of the deliciously fresh muffins, quiche, scones and sandwiches!

There are so many excellent coffee shops in Ogden. Kaffe Mercantile is probably the most hidden, tucked away in to a neighborhood just east of Harrison. But they are certainly worth a check-out. The coffee is excellent. I recommend the Highlander Mocha. The patio is almost perfect for summer reading. The only thing keeping Kaffe Merc from being my daily cup of joe is the seating, which is the worst of any Ogden coffee shop. But its been the same for a long time. They must have heard the complaints by now. One can only assume they leave it alone to make sure people dont stay too long once their cup is empty. How unfortunate.

location on chambers in south ogden. if you want a good cup of coffee not the place to go, i have gone there because its within walking distance from my work, but just a suggestion, focus more on perfecting your coffee and less on coming out with more food items. are you a coffee shop or a cafe? neither your food or your coffee is anything to write home about, i certainly wouldnt waste the ink. Sorry, i know its hard to be a small business owner, but, its a small location, put out only a few food items that are the best around and worth the money and work on your coffee.

I visited Ogden for 3 days on a work trip. Kaffe Mercantile was the best coffee shop we found. The employees/owners(?) were incredibly friendly and the coffee was amazing (seriously). I live in Colorado, and love Peets coffee... Kaffe Mercantile was on par with Peets (high praise from me). In fact, I found myself going to this coffee shop twice a day, once in the morning for an Americano, and then in the evening for a relaxing hot chocolate with freshly made whip cream. Yum. Cant wait to visit Ogden again...just to go back to this cute coffee shop.

Love both locations, friendly, customer service & knowledge on coffee. Im not the coffee drinker, (thats my boyfriend, whose from SLC via OR & loves to see me in Ogden and hanging at the 26th location while I work),but the staff has always been helpful choosing the right blend as gifts for others & my coffee snob. Also at the 930 Chambers location, I cant help but stop and a yummy Light Chai tea latte & stare at the mountains! Keep up the good work!

I was just in a few minutes ago only to talk to Nick and Lance. I saw them comment at a public meeting on Tuesday night and I wanted to let them know I appreciated their remarks. They were not there unfortunately. I did find a gem in a perfect little shop/cafe. I got a pastry and a drink and the crust on the pastry was clearly made with great care. So good and flaky and yum. This is a great place. Go there right now.

Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9am there is yoga in the backyard. They also do a singer/songwriter series that displays local talent. Aside from the great service and wonderful space/ambiance, I feel they really try to be a part of the community by inviting a community of people together. Ive been happy with my drink selection and Nick even remembered my drink order from a previous visit. Love them!

This quaint, comfortable little coffee shop is my favorite place in Ogden. Local small business is thriving with community hospitality and down home goodness. They not only have the best fresh brewed coffee, they also offer fresh "made to order" food. We come here at least once a year from Wyoming and look forward to it "all year". Thank you all at "The Merc"

My husband and I thought we found a wonderful new spot to eat! BUT we ended up SO disappointed! We paid $23.00 for 1 hard and tasteless sandwiches and a veggie wrap without any sides items. I mean they didnt even give us a bag of chips or a flipping pickle! The large lemonade costs $5.00 and the stale pastry are about $3.00. It was a horrible, never again, experience!!!!

Really enjoy the ambiance..& the cute little bistro tables out on the patio! I like sitting outside when the weather permits. The people who work there are super nice too. My only complaint is when people choose to conduct their business & do so quite loudly on their phones. Its too small a place for that & is disruptive. *

nice quiet place with good coffee. I am pretty sure its a house that was turned with a coffee shop extension on it. They sell gluten free cookies (pre-packaged). They let you make your own coffee and have a bunch of different options. Some are organic. They also have lots of different milk choices.

Wish I lived across the street. I would definitely recommend as this is the only time I have given a rating on Google in my life! Traveling through to bozeman Mt, I realize people may gripe about the price, but the food is worth it! Also my gf says it has her favorite coffee in the world.

Great neighborhood coffee shop. Excellent drinks, wonderful breakfast food, and I love the ability to pay with my phone. Also, you can text in your order on your way in, and its waiting piping hot when you get there.
