After purchasing 5 emergency light units that were later rejected by our property manager, we called Crawford Electric Supply back to see what their return policy was concerning the 5 unused and unopened units. (Total ticket less than $100.) Charlie was passed the call and we have to say, the call went to crap right there. Charlie was the rudest, most unprofessional individual we have ever spoken to in this type of situation. We were lectured on how he did not accept returns because "everyone went in there not knowing what they were doing! Oh, I dont mean you..." No Charlie, you meant us. The person you were just so rude to owns three (count them THREE) construction related businesses and we believe the word of mouth from this incident will be fairly detrimental to Crawfords local reputation as we deal with many electricians and other tradespeople involved with purchasing electrical supplies in the area. We would highly recommend the management of Crawford Electric Supply Co put Charlie through a few more customer service training sessions since his customer service skills seem to be sorely lacking, especially when it comes to speaking to customers in a civil tone of voice. We understand the no return policy, we do not understand a salesman lecturing a customer. Be warned, if you buy from Crawford on Bitters, youd better be perfect in your assessment of your needs because mistakes (and returns) are not tolerated there.

We have purchased millions of dollars worth of product from Crawford since opening in San Antonio. Our inside sales person John Harnett is top notch. John gets us what we need, when we need it and keeps us updated on delivery schedules for the hard to find material. Crawfords moto is Whatever it takes" and that is how our Company has been treated. Crawford is a professional group that knows what Electrical Contractors need. Weve never had any problems with Crawford.

I also was assigned Charlie when I called in looking for a 15,000 piece of equipment that we needed in an emergency. San Antonio was our closet location to get this item but when we didnt get an answer back from Crawford, we absolutely needed to get it from somewhere else. Im wondering if the owners of the company realize the loss of bad customer service?

This location is by far the worst Crawford Electric I have ever done business with. they never have the material that you need and they are in no hurry to get the material you need. they need to hire some competent employees and get rid of the ones they have.
