Although Big Ern may be a talented tattoo artist, he is arrogant and thinks he is entitled to make unauthorized changes to your tattoo. I went in to have a tattoo retouched. I told him I wanted the colors brightened. Since the tattoo is on my back, I could not see what he was doing. When he was finished I saw that he had changed the tattoo without asking me. I originally had a butterfly with antenna that were two thin lines. He filled in the color just fine, but filled in more black that what I originally had and the color pattern area on the wings is now smaller, i.e. the color spots are now smaller because he added more black. Not what I asked for. The worst part is he added two HUGE circle balls on the tips of the antennas that look like giant black gumballs. It is ridiculous looking as well as ugly. I was upset because it was ugly, as well as because my tattoo would no longer match my sisters tattoo that we had gotten together. When I said that I hadnt asked for that he lied and said that there were already small balls there and that he had just made them larger. Not sure why he thought Id believe that, I know there were no balls on my original antenna. He then told me I was just being too picky and that there was nothing he could do. I would just have to get laser removal treatments. I dont think I was being too picky by being upset about changes to my tattoo that I DID NOT ASK FOR. And now I am having to pay for laser treatments that are not only expensive, but will take a year or more, and theres no guarantee it will come off. Dont go to Prodigy Ink, you may get something you didnt ask for that looks awful.

This is Brandy....the owner. I would like to speak a little about the negative reviews on here. Im all for REAL ones, but this is ridiculous! To the woman with the butterfly....we explained to you that your original tattoo had bled under your skin causing a halo effect and the only way to fix that was to tattoo over it. Therefore it made the original design larger. To the girl with the nostril piercing....we mark all customers and then ask them if thats where they would like the piercing, you chose that spot. Second, we dont use jewelry with gems to pierce with so you obviously changed it too soon and thats what caused your swelling and overgrowth. If you would have left it alone you would have had no swelling after 1 months time of us piercing you. Learn to call your studio and ask questions if you dont want to read your aftercare. We strive to make every customer satisfied. If you say you are happy when you leave then we take your word for it. If your not....SPEAK UP we will make sure whatever is wrong gets fixed. If something does happen to your body art/piercing after a while all you nred to do is contact us. If your just not interested in coming to our shop anymore then dont, but please stay off of Google reviews unless you have a real complaint. Thank you

My wife and I both got tattoos on the same evening and our experience was very positive. I returned approximately 4 weeks later, at about 7 pm on a Saturday evening, to get some touch up work done. Admittedly they were busy, there were 3 artists currently giving tattoos, but the artist who did my tattoo was available. I was told that they usually perform touchups during the weeks since they are typically busy during the weekends and was asked to come back. I understand this policy, but am a bit disappointed that Im not good enough for prime time after they got my money. If there were other customers waiting in line I would have seen this differently, but there werent. I scheduled an apappointment and and went on my way rather than tarnish an otherwise positive experience by pushing the issue.

INK DONE RIGHT! My old tat was one I picked out with my X. It had faded and looked bad, and no longer held sentimental value to me. I went to see what it would cost to cover it up and ended up talking to Stevie, who drew the art and said he could do that day. He took his time and it turned out great. I couldnt be more thrilled with his skills and detail. I have had a ton of compliments. LOVE MY MERMAID SCALES!! If you are thinking about INK. This is definitely the place to go.

I took my daughter in here for a piercing and to ask about a tattoo and they were incredibly rude. Two of the artists sat there talking to each other and one guy looked up from his phone. No one was doing anything. After sitting for a while, we started to get up and I swear I heard one of the people inside say that we could get fd somewhere else since we didnt want to wait.

i got my nose pierced here a little over a month ago and i woke up this morning and skin had grown completely over it so i had to go to ink ink to get it out they couldnt break the skin so they had to pull the diamond through my nose and then i was told the diamond that prodigy used was way too small and was in the complete wrong spot!!!!

Work

I have been working with Big Ern on a Patriotic sleeve for about a year. He has been phenomenal so far. As soon as I have more cash I will continue but the environment is perfect, staff is friendly and the artist all have skill. Make an appointment or drop by, you wont be disappointed.
