What a dilemma I have: excellent donuts and the RUDEST woman ever! Let me do this in story format: I try to make people smile by saying things that are obviously goofy. For example, I may order a large Coke and a small Diet Coke at the drive-thru, and then they give them to me, I ask, "Now, which one is the Coke?" Or, "I forgot my credit cards, do you take cash?" Goofy stuff, and all said with a smile on my face. 100% of the time, in my experience, its appreciated. Well, this morning, I went to this place with one of my sons. At the drive thru, I ordered a dozen glazed donuts and a dozen kolaches. The woman (obviously the rude one described in several reviews below) said, "regular kolaches?" In my attempt to make her smile, I said, with a smile on my face, "regular as opposed to irregular?" This was clearly a joke. She replied, "When I say good morning to someone, its always nice to hear good morning in response." Since I had, indeed, wished her "good morning" to begin with, I was pleased to hear this. Well, I think I mistook her tone. After she handed me the kolaches, she said, while walking away, "regular glazed donuts?" When she came back and handed them to me, I said, "these arent the irregular ones, right?" Again, clearly a joke...and with a smile on my face. After I paid, she said - okay, literally yelled (Im not joking) - something Ive never heard any merchant say in my 58 years on earth: "You probably drove past a lot of donut shops on your way here. Next time, stop at one of them and I REALLY HOPE YOU DONT COME BACK!!!" At first, I thought she was kidding; after all, it was a nice day, I was obviously goofing around, and, well, why would any merchant tell a paying customer never to come back? But, the tone of her voice made it clear that she was not joking. I must assume that, in being so rude (again, see the reviews below), she must be VERY rich and not need any more customers or money. So, being the nice guy that I am, I hereby grant her wish: I will never darken her drive-thru again, nor either of their other two locations. Nor will any of my six kids. P.S. Speaking of my joke "I forgot my credit cards, do you take cash?" - its true - this place does NOT take cash. Oh, and the drive-thru is very tight, there are new employees pretty much every time (gee, I cant imagine why....), and the prices are high. But, I have to admit, From now on, Donut Palace - which is right up the street and has good donuts AND VERY NICE employees - will get my money.

The service was non-existent. I stood inside waiting for my order to be taken for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was there. When my order finally was taken, the food was bad. The chocolate twist was all dough with barely any chocolate on it. The blueberry cake doughnuts was as hard as a rock. The kolaches were ice cold. I had to ask them to warm them up twice. Then they turned to mush, and were still cold. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Good donuts and cute little donut shop in the heart of downtown Grapevine. The jalapeño sausage cheese roll is excellent. Plain and chocolate donuts are good too. I wish the apple fritters were good but they are pretty bad... actually they are terrible. Really dry and no apples at all. Thats the only reason I didnt give them a 5.

Best donuts Ive ever tasted. I love to dip donuts in coffee and these work the best! Very seldom that I find myself waiting a short time for service, but its understood for this small size of a shop compared to the massive amount of customers they handle with individual care (great customer service).

Kountry Donuts has the best sausage rolls of any place in north texas, hands down. The owner Shauna is one of the nicest ladies youll ever meet, and the precision and care that she puts into her business are unrivalled. Drop by today, and try the best donuts, coffee, and sausage rolls in Grapevine.

I understand if you hate your job, but you will not have a job if your attitude makes your business suffer and loose income. * Tip for the girl who works this location. * I took my company business else where, and thats terrible because were order Breakfast for the office once a week.

Donuts are good, not the service early at 5ish. I ordered 3 boxes of assorted donuts and the lady gave me a whole box of chocolate plus more chocolate donuts on the other boxes with rarely some variety with only one blueberry donut! :(

They dont take cash. Only electronic payments. Horribly rude unfriendly workers. No signs about not accepting cash anywhere outside of drive thru. Doughnuts used to be good and were thick and hot. Now they are thin and crappy.

Best donuts around. Well worth the wait. But be warned, on the weekend there will be a wait but the owner is incredibly efficient and keeps the line moving. Make sure and get there early if you want the full selection

Delicious donuts. Id say them and Krispy Kreme are extremely close on deliciousness. I cant choose between them, but Kountry Donuts is in walking distance for me.
