I am a sophomore in college and my family has been going to Southern Maid in Flower Mound since I was in middle school. We absolutely love everything about it. It is always the same man and woman; they are so friendly. The donuts are a reasonable price and they are always really good. I am a glazed lover and I would compare theirs to Krispy Kreme!! They make their donuts fresh ever morning and you can see the man doing it behind the window. Its worth every penny.

Helen and her husband provide the best customer service. When you walk in you immediately feel welcome - this is what a mom and pop store should feel like. The donuts are always fresh and are always the right amount of airy. I love buying the sausage rolls in a dozen and then freezing them so I can warm them up for breakfast in the morning - they hold really well.

It is a shame Dunkin Donuts opened up so close but if you have ever tried these donuts you would be happy to drive back a few hundred more yards for a delicious experience. A great friendly staff works here.
