The only reason I am giving one star is because you cant give a negative star rating. I am currently in the middle of my first experience with Tandy leather. I placed my first online order with Tandy on Friday April 8th 2016 as I have a special order from a lady whos husband has cancer. She placed an order for two matching leather roper wallets. One for her terminally ill husband and a matching wallet for her son so they will have matching wallets before he dies. When this lady approached me, I did some research Tandy to find out what their shipping policy is, transit time, etc. After finding out that their policy is to fill orders and ship them within 24 to 36 hours of receiving the order. So after gathering all of the information that I needed, I made the decision to go ahead and make the order as my supplies would be there in enough time for me to tool, dye, see, and finish 2 of the 3 wallets I have ordered. So I made the order totaling over $130.00 to cover the three wallets and a craftool star stamp and some ecoflo super shene and ecoflo leather dye, plus taxes and shipping. I dont think I have ever had to pay sales taxwhen buying things on the internet, but hey, u gotta pay the man right? Anyway, moving on, I received an email saying that they had received the order that I placed and that my credit card would be charged when my order was ready to be shipped. On Monday April 11, my credit card was charged for my order, one of the charges being $15 for shipping. Wow! Kinda high, but I need these supplies so whatever, no big deal. At 1:44pm on Monday April 11th I also got an email that said "Your Order Has Shipped." And it even has a tracking number. Now I live about 200 miles from this store and about 120 from the one in memphis TN. And supposedly their website ships from the closest store to where you live. I cant drive because I have epilepsy. So I have to wait on shipping. Well on Tuesday morning, I wake up and start thinking while Im having my coffee, I wonder where my package is since I paid $15 for 2day priority shipping and I was getting close to 24 hours since I received the email saying that my order had shipped. So I open the email and click on the tracking number thats ten miles long lol. And when the USPS tracking information comes up, it says that the USPS has been notified that they will be receiving a package to be shipped to me and the label was created. I keep checking my tracking number all day with no more information being provided. So at 5 PM I call the store in Nashville where my package was sent from. The lady I spoke with asked me for my order number and name which I gave to her and she then put me on hold for what she called "just a moment". After my shower and I got thru eating dinner and walking the dogs, she finally came back on the phone and said " You know what? I bet yours was one of the packages that went out this morning. My USPS guy ran really early Monday morning and I had like 20 orders that needed to go so I didnt get them all shipped so its very likely that yours was in some of the packages that went out today. But give it a few more days and if you dont hear anything, call us back." So I went online and tracked my package again and once more, there was no evidence of my package moving. Well at 8:00 Tuesday night, I sent an email to Tandy leather under their contact us link. As of Wednesday at 2:00 PM, I have not gotten a response and their policy on that is to contact you within 24 hours. They still have a while yet but I will post again and let everyone know what happened. But I must say, Im not impressed at all. Because I need to case the leather, carve, dye, finish, sew, etc I may not have these ready on time and I will feel awful because of the obligation that I have to someone else.

I shop quite a bit at Tandy in Nashville . The staff is great and the Manager Keeven is VERY knowledgeable . They close at 6 in the evening but if you get there at a quarter till and need more time to shop, They will not ask you to hurry. Great group of people .
