Im sorry to say, but this pet shops bad reputation is just getting worse. The hermit crabs dont have salt water along with their (very dirty) fresh. Two of the stores pet birds compulsively pull their feathers out and bite. The kittens have what looks like distemper (cloudy eyes, diarrhea), and the owner wouldnt tell me where they got them. They advertise $5 nail clipping, but the owner does it on her store counter with the customer holding the dog, and the two times I was in while she was clipping a dogs nails, the dogs were crying and jumping while their nails bled on the counter. She was yelling at them to shut up, which then encouraged the owners to do so as well, further scaring the dogs. Every fish Ive bought there has died within a week of dropsy, or comes infected with Ich. Mice that MULTIPLE people besides me bought have gotten very sick and died within 2 weeks of purchasing, or were extremely violent/inbred with various nervous disorders (twitches, seizures). Do not support this store, please! They care only about the money, not their animals.

The employees and owners really care about your pets and want to help in any way they can. They take and adamant stance against puppy mills, which I too am passionate about. The store has a great atmosphere and is very open. The prices are also a lot better than chain pet stores.

A great friendly pet store. The clerk went out of her way to help us find and fit a harness for our new pet bunny. They have a very large selection of accessories and pet needs.
