WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WORST MANAGEMENT EVER. Now listen.... Lets talk about KRISTI. Some how she has become manager of the apple store in center city Philadelphia. If I were any person that is ranking above her reading this right now I would just go ahead and fire her immediately. I have never been treated with such intense rudeness in my life. Im a working professional who deals with clients on a daily basis, and was shocked by her attitude, lack of knowledge, and lack of help. My top button on my iPhone was not working - I found out about the IPhone replacement button program Apple had put into place. So I went into the store to get it fixed. I waited over an hour and a half after my appointment had started. So I finally asked for a manager. That was when Kristi walked over with the most lackadaisical demeaner I could have ever imagined. She 1. Didnt care that I had to wait, and 2. Didnt care that other things on my phone were non- functional. So she grabs the phone out of my hands and looks at it and says "Yeah this will qualify for a loaner phone while we send it away." I was with my friend having the same problem (his phone battery only lasts an hour on a full charge) - but Kristi didnt care. She then proceeds to tell us that she has made exceptions in the past of just replacing a phone instead of having to get a longer phone, and then getting the sleep/wake button fixed, then getting your original phone back, which (for the most part) does not work. She then insulted the both of us for not having a warranty and said that we were not "loyal customers as we have claimed to be. Now, let me tell you this. I waited in line for the first iPhone on June 29, 2007. Ive had an iPhone ever since, along with multiple macbook pros, iPads, etc. After a slew of other things happening at the store, like them trying to get me to pay $300 for a loaner phone for 10 days (which on the website it says its free) they tell me that because there is a microscopic chip in the bottom left hand corner of the silver bezel on my phone that I no longer qualify for the sleep/wake button replacement program. I say "Kristi told me my phone qualifies" She responds "I aint no technician." Wow. I was blown away. Who in their right mind hired her as a manager of an apple store in center city Philadelphia. She then said "Ive had enough of this conversation (and I quote) If you dont wanna buy no new phone then Im done with this conversation". She then walked away. My friend and I are young professionals who treated all the employees there with respect, while just trying to get a simple problem resolved. We stayed at the store for over an hour an a half. I dont know what the hiring process is like for Apple retail, but it should be severely analyzed. Ive been a loyal Apple Customer for over seven years, and now am seriously considering switching. All thanks to Kristi and obviously apples choice in making her a manager of a store in a metropolitan area. My advice to Apple in Philadelphia : Get rid of Kristi and start interviewing your employees before hiring anyone off the street. An extreme disappointment. Honestly, just a shock at how when a company gets so big, they can just care less about their everyday consumer.

This Store has bad customer service. I had brought headphones from this location on 4/18 the medal piece that goes inside the phones had broken off. I went back to the store on 4/28 and they had told me that they will not be able to replace the headphones because it has physical damage. I explained to the rep that the piece had broken and it was not my fault, he said I can send you to a manager but they are going to say the same thing. He sent me to a manager and she basically said the same thing. I told her I only had the headphones for 18 days and I have a receipt. She said medal do not break and something in my bag probably broke the medal piece, I told here there is nothing in my bag strong enough to break the medial piece to my headphones I told her I am not leaving this store until my headphones get replaced because I did not break them. She said I will replace them this time but I am going to put a note in (AS IF SHE WAS DOING ME A FAVOR) she called a store associated over and said can you replace these because they broke on their own in a sarcastic way. He said oh thats what she said, mind you I am standing right in front of them. I explained to both of them, I can buy anything in this store if I wanted to do not try to down play me like I am trying to get over. I would not have came all the way down here to get over for $30 headphones. she made it seem like she was doing me a favor by giving me free headphones. I paid for something and if they break within 18 days and if I have the receipt, I have the right for them to be replaced because it was a manufacture issue. She ask me 2 times how did they break, I explained to her miss if I knew how they broke I would have told you. People always say this store is bad fro business this is why I go to the Apple store in Cherry. They have a much better vibe and their customer service is awesome.

Got iPhone 6s plus from the store today. So far very happy with phone. The lady who helped me with the purchase was super helpful and informative. Never pushed me to buy anything, just explained pros and cons. Then came the disaster.....once the phone was activated, all my contacts did not transfer. Reason, I have not backed up my phone to iCloud in last 2yrs....reason- my storage is full and I never felt the urge to buy extra storage. The lady took me to a man to help with this problem. They told me I have to buy extra storage, back my previous phone and then transfer my contacts....I told them, I do not intend to buy extra iCloud space. The man said, contacts cannot be transferred unless I buy extra storage. His response to my question---if I can transfer my contacts without buying extra iCloud storage was " And I want a sail boat too". He went on to repeat it 4-5 times. Finally the lady asked me if I really did not want to buy extra storage,, it was cheap, dont I want to store my pics... I said no. I told her, that I have always bought my iPhone from att store or best buy and they have always transferred data from 1 phone to another. How is it not possible in apple store. Finally the man took out wire and just plugged both phones in, transferred contacts. It took less than 4 min. I cannot believe, that man gave me such a hard time for this and was soo sarcastic about it. This is when I am paying extra for apple care with this phone, $129. Is this the kind of care I am paying for? If it wasnt for the lady, I would have given 1 star (that is because there is no option for negative)....Cant believe people are so sarcastic when you are buying >$1000 device and paying extra for service!
