I have visited this restuarant several times since its opening, and every time I have the service has been TERRIBLE. There is a wait which can be expected, however there is no place to sit while waiting, when I finally was sat, it took a hour and twenty minutes to get 3 measly orders of scrambled eggs and toast and it wasnt even that busy that day! I did not see my waitress during this wait and actually had to seek out a manager to find our food. They didnt know what happened to our order it took another 20 minutes to get us our food. When the manager finally came back he whispered to us to tell us that he was sorry so no other customers would hear. This was hands down the worst service I have ever experienced, and it wouldnt be as bad except this was the THIRD time it has happened to my party alone, let alone other customers. Even after emailing the company their response is just as delayed as their service, they have yet to get back to me. Note to Cracker Barrel: Care about your customers instead of just the dollar signs.

The waiter I had was rude and didnt pay attention to me while I was ordering and then brought me the wrong food. Then brought my boyfriend the wrong hash browns even when they had a short conversation about the hash browns he was ordering. Oh and while we were ordering my buddy was giving his order and stumbled a bit and the waiter said "I dont have all day" Also my grandfather got the dumplings as a side and found plastic in it. They also made us wait 15 minutes to just "clean the table" and when we got to the table their was trash all under it and not fully wiped down. I love Cracker Barrel, the food is usually amazing and the service but, Im very disappointed with this one in particular and will not come back. My waiters name was John.

By far, this place has the best comfort food of any national chain restaurant. Perfect place to bring the whole family. Wonderful iced teas, root beer served with frosted mugs that you pour in yourself. Great kids menu, and a brain-teaser puzzle to keep them occupied. Our server was attentive and we never felt rushed. The gift shop offers every thing from old fashioned candies and sodas in glass bottles, to cookbooks, audio books, home decorations, womens clothing, and toys. (Go in there with a firm plan, or youre likely going to spend a lot of money!) All of the Cracker Barrels I have visited have, with only a few exceptions, given good service and quality food. This location is no exception.

As a whole, the food was delicious and we had a nice time. Although our waitress said she would be back to check on us, and DID NOT COME BACK. I HAD TO ASK SOMEONE ELSE TO BRING ME MORE COFFEE! Very irritating, especially when she came back to the man at the next table 2 times to give him more coffee and I saw her in the kitchen area just talking to other servers several times and yet didnt have time to come back to our table! Also, when we ordered dessert, I said I wanted mine to go and she did not bring it in a box to go! I had to ask for a box again. And she didnt seem to care!

I have been to this location a few times in 3 years but Cracker Barrel in general is a very good place to eat. The food is awesome for being old fashioned and the prices for a meal for two is phenomenal (just under $25) I can eat $30-$40 worth of food myself including drinks so this place is good budget option. The decor is not important as is the cleanliness of the dining area which I have no complaints about. My only gripe would be that I wish they would update their gift shop with some modern items, or at least feature something new once in a while.

The food is usually very good but the customer service is inconsistent from one member of the waitstaff to the next. During my most recent visit, the waitress did not announce the daily specials, offer refills, or dessert. Also, its not uncommon to find bits of trash or used silverware underneath and/or even on the tables. I had all of this occur during a recent visit and wrote an email to customer service. In response, I received a standard insert-name-here email that did not acknowledge my individual concerns.

The best meal I had during my entire weekend in Pennsylvania. Trounces Bob Evans and the Ihop we have in New York as far as food and pricing goes. The wait wasnt too long and we were able to shop for gifts and souvenirs which distracted us, despite how hungry we were. The food was not only amazing, but pretty quick to the table and they offered a large variety of things for a small amount of money. The staff was friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my visit and would gladly return if ever in the area.

4.5 stars. As a person from the West Coast, I have never been to a Cracker Barrel. The country store was a welcomed distraction from the usual dreary wait for an open table. There was much to see and lots to play with. Once our table was available, the waiting staff was friendly and took our orders quickly. One-half star was deducted because the orders were not brought out correctly, however, the food was as expected, homey comfort food with generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere.

Waitress was not attentive. Waitress lacked enthusiasm. Hostess seated us quickly due to low traffic night. Waitress was going to charge us for water. Didnt give option to have our biscuits served sooner. Didnt ask for refills. Wife had to tag hostess to track waitress down. I informed the manager but he didnt seem understanding. For a slow night, food took long. Did I mention waitress want attentive and manager want understanding? I expected more professionalism.

The food is phenominal but they dont give you nearly enough. 1 piece of fish with the catfish meal, for ten bucks its a complete ripoff, they should give you at least three peices so you have enough and youre sufficiently full. portions are very small, almost child size. and way overpriced, i can get all of the things they have on their menu for half of what they charge, people who arent really budget consious or just have money to give away should eat here

I have been going to Cracker Barrel for years, so very disappointed today. They dont have chicken salad anymore. I ordered one of their pan seared burgers, the lettuce was wilted and tomaoe yellow. We have always got their cobbler. It was served 1/4 the size and the ice crean was stale and had ice in it. The peaches were sparce. Definetly not going back. Why do all great places change their ways, and wonder why they go under?

This is such a great place for local American cuisine. The prices will have you take a second look in the sense that its so cheap. Great cozy home style food. Eggs, bacon, pancakes and the works! I would recommend the pancakes and that all authentic natural maple syrup. Everything about this place is so cute. The vintage look, the barn type feel. They do sell various products when you come you can purchase as well .
