i was long overdue for an eye exam and probably would have kept putting one off if dr. ezra hadnt just opened up such a cool operation near my house. optik is located conveniently on close in n mississipi ave, close to transit and all of the other good stuff on that street. dr. ezra definitely matches his surroundings for stylishness -- his facilities and equipment are modern, and his selection of frames is super chic. youll find something you like even if youre not necessarily into the j. franz/hipster thing. the woman who runs reception and handles billing (sorry, i forgot your name!) found me the perfect frames within a minute of my first visit. dr. ezra himself made me feel comfortable by conducting my exam casually and conversationally, but made sure that i also understood the meaning of the information he was gathering and what it meant for the health of my eyes and for corrective options. im excited to sport my new glasses around the neighborhood before everyone else gets in for an appointment, because im sure they will.

Go here! I have been in and out of optometry offices all my life since the 4th grade. Ezra and his staff are probably the best care I have experienced and they are pretty enthusiastic about the field. I was really impressed. I was going to go the route of Warby Parker but decided to support local and actually found the best pair of glasses for my high index prescription have had to date. Usually Optometrists get close but dont hit the target. Very impressed. Also, the glasses were ready in 1 week. Really put something that really fits you on your face for two years.

Best place to get glasses. Im an incredibly picky person with glasses & hesitant to try new ones but really needed a new pair. The second I walked in I was greeted and trying on new frames in no time. Everyone who works here is awesome and makes it a comfortable experience. Everybody who works here is also very knowledgeable of what they offer as well. Good selection, great staff, great experience all around. Definitely recommend and would go as far to say excited to go glasses shopping at Optik in the future.

Beyond amazing. I cannot express this enough. Dr.Ezra goes beyond the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. Your health is his number one concern. I have never felt more comfortable, or taken care of. The staff knew my name after the first visit, and I was never bombarded with a million billing questions. I do not currently have insurance and can still afford to come to this business, and I never felt more welcome. Usually when you say you dont have insurance you are treated differently, but not here.

Ive been seeing optometrists since I was a kid[now 30], and can absolutely confirm that Dr. Ezra and the staff are the best Ive ever had. Very knowledgeable, he can answer any question you have, and you feel relaxed and well trusted when in his clinic. On top of that, the eyewear quality is absolutely top-notch. Ive had future optometrists compliment the finish and optical properties of the pair of specs Ive received from Optik. Ive been extremely pleased with this location, and sad I had to move out of town.

I love this place! Dr. Ezra Atikune and his team always quick and friendly. The exams always go smoothly and all my questions are always answered fully. The staff help curate the collection of frames and are able to help locate the perfect frame for each face type within a few suggestions. Ive been able to book appointments around my schedule needs with only a week or twos time out. Check them out when you are in the area.

Super friendly staff. Unfortunantly they dont separate frames by gender and the experience because of that was very frustrating. They did offer to help me look around; I shouldnt need someone hanging on my shoulder just to find mens frames! Basically I was very uncomfortable with the store and I ended up receiving an eye exam but not purchasing glasses from their store. Again super friendly.

Thank you for an accurate, professional and friendly eye exam. They have glasses available in designer brands, but also have nice looking and study glasses that are in a very affordable range! Thank you for having frames, lenses and services that I could afford! I got a flyer and saved a lot!
