I have ALWAYS gone to H.L. Art for all of my jewelry. They are fairly priced with a great selection and if they dont have exactly what you want they can either order it for you, or their goldsmith can MAKE it for you. (Hes really good!) Ive never had a problem with them they are very timely and they call you to let you know when your order is ready to be picked up. They recently renovated their store and it looks VERY sharp. Everything is new and fresh. They even got rid of a lot of older jewelry and got a bunch of new inventory. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I completely trust them and its always fun to go in and look around for something new while they clean your rings and other jewelry for free while youre browsing :)... Anyway I saw ONE review for them and it was a negative review so I felt like I had to say something good about them since Ive been doing business with them for years and feel more than comfortable coming back again and again... :)

I took a watch there to have the face replaced because it was cracked. Granted it was only an Armitron, but it still had sentimental value to me. The lady behind the counter pulled out another (expensive) watch and waved it around to show me that I could have the face replaced to be like it. I felt like she was only dealing with me because she HAD to, not because she wanted to. It seemed like as soon as she knew that it wasnt going to be a big sale or anything her tone changed. I was going to have it fixed but changed my mind as soon as I left and went in to take it back. Again, she acted like I was a stranger in a strange land and that I didnt belong in their store. Needless to say I will not be returning.

I was saddened to read the reviews today as I looked at H. L Arts website. I find their associates most gracious and go "beyond the call of duty" to assist me. Last fall I had a complicated request that involved creating jewelry for five granddaughters. Many calls from the store were made to me to clarify or to make sure what they were doing was satisfactory. I have gone in for minor things such as batteries for watches and again, always treated with the upmost respect and kindness. I highly recommend this local business and tell my friends about the wonderful assistance I get there.
