I went to 3 places to have my coins evaluated for value. This was the last of the 3. J&S coins, Hyde Park rare coins and here. At the first 2 places I was buzzed in. The places were clean. The sales people were polite, informative, and respectful. They took the coins they thought could be of extra value out of their envelopes, carefully looked at them, put them back in the envelopes, the gave me a polite and professional opinion. At ATC I walk through an unsecured door, theres a Police officer looking through their computer (?????)...The man who waited on me seemed annoyed that I wanted to see if there was more than scrap value, dumped twenty or so coins out, threw the envelopes in a pile, mixed up the dollars and half dollars then threw a scrap price at me. Then went back to eating his dinner leaving me to sort out the mess he made,making it obvious he wasnt going to help me put it back together. His price is in the ballpark but his lack of professionalism helped me narrow down who Im selling to down to 2. And ATC isnt one of them.

Terrible customer service! They have gone down hill in this department. I have bought several items from them over the past 2 years including a crossbow, a gun, a couple fishing poles, and coins. The last visit I was interested in purchasing some coins. The guy behind the counter seemed very disinterested, and when I asked him if he had any 90% junk he said "Sure, about 100 dollars face." I ask if I could see them. He said, " How much are you going to buy" I said "I dont know yet, I wanna see what you have." He said, " I dont have time for you look through them and pick out Barbers.". Go to Coins + for your couns. Same prices. Way better customer service.

I like this store. Great customer service and very helpful.. But the only thing i did realize is that they dont pay top dollar for gold. Ive been there several times to sell my jewlery and knew i took a lost for what theyve given me. I took my ring up there and its valued at $8,750 and i was trying to sell it they only offered $350 so i went some where else in 7 hills and they gave me $1500. Also there was a time that i went actually it was my last time recently they offered me $90 for my stuff so i didnt take the money, so i went to Geraci and they gave me $127.. I just feel like they dont offer enough.

American Trading Company on Harrison Ave. Cheviot Ohio gave me the most money for my firearms. Higher than Cash America that is for sure. If you want the best money for firearms this is the place to go.
